It just can't cool down a small space
Shipping was great but I tried it out in my small Kia and even on high the temp continues to climb. I ran the car AC in the Kia to cool it off first but when I turned the car off the little unit just could not keep the temp down. I will probably return it.

Super efficient
Fabulous addition to my Rv setup. Uses very little energy! Under 200w per hour and cools a small place perfectly when you’re near it.

Works good for the size but pricey. Strap a fan to the power brick.
I enclosed the bunk over my class c Motorhome using a thick fabric that I could roll up and down. I chose this AC because of the low power draw. I have a battery bank that is charged durring the day by solar on the roof. The A/c is plugged into the Solar bank at night. It does a good job of cooling the bunk down for sleeping at night. If it’s over 90 degrees I will usually use the Motorhome A/c to cool everything down for about 20 minutes and then this keeps the bunk cool the rest of the night by itself. I did strap a small usb powered fan to the power brick to keep it cool. A hot power brick will cause this unit to malfunction. I gave it 4 stars because of that and it is pricey for what you get. I have been using it non-stop for about 9 months. I will try and update if anything changes.

Good personal cooling fan if it's not too hot.
I bought this to cool my truck camper in the Arizona and Nevada springtime. It doesn't have the power to bring the temperature inside the camper down significantly, but it is nice to have it blow directly on me, especially at night. The flexible hose makes directing the airflow easy. 2380 BTUs just isn't enough to cool a camper. I guess that's why camper AC units are 13,500 BTUs and larger. But this works fine as a personal cooling fan in warm weather. After actually trying to use it in 100 degree weather, I discovered that the compressor will not kick on. It's just too hot for it to run. So this unit is probably good for use in 90 degree or below temperatures.

Not a good product in Texas heat.
Camped by the beach in Texas heat, does not cool well at all, it has to be right in your face to get some relief, not a good product for the money one pays.

Does not work
This item does not completely work. It comes on and stay on for 5 minutes makes a sound and cuts off. The troubleshooting instructions does not work for it. Don't waste your time.

Surprisingly lightweight
It seems to be working. Definitely gets cold. Surprisingly lightweight fo4 an AC. Time will tell if it’s a good product.

It’s not made for large spaces
So is the Easycool worth it?.. for me yes but it has limitations. It was 109 in the camper today and it will not not it down..but this evening it was 84 in camper and within 30 mins it cooled it to 74.. and will continue to around 70 .. woke up one night to furn it on liw because its freezing.. lol.. I am never in the camper during the day.. so I have just used it to get a great cool nights sleep without the sticky humidity.. The side loves it..I love it.. it’s night and day inside the mini compared to outside .. if you want to kool your camper down during a 100 plus degree day, buy a 5000 btu house AC .. if you only in at night looking for a small compact relatively light AC then try it out.. I am in a mini mate camper not a full size..
