Extremely satisfied with this great product. 2 disclaimers: 1. This job is a little bit difficult & I could never have gotten it done without 3X magnifying glasses I keep in my personal tool set. 2. The red & yellow (screw types) are reversed on the magnetic pad. I would recommend opening at least 3 different guide videos on YT (choose those over 8 minutes long) as they all tend to offer more detailed explanation & zoom in different areas of the job. And be extra, EXTRA careful & THOUGHTFUL when matching the adhesive sheets as they are custom fit & orientation to the either half of the phone. When you peel off the first sheet to expose the adhesive, think about where that piece is best suited.

After watching the associated video, I decided to order this screen replacement kit. I was not disappointed. It is well thought out and as Chinese products go, well documented. This being said I would not tackle this project unless you have some technical aptitude. This was not my first screen repair of a phone and to be honest I’m glad it wasn’t as even with the installation video and instructions there were a few times I had to improvise. But on completion of my screen swap the results were fantastic. Nice vivid screen and no dead spots even to very edges. Face recognition works perfectly. What I ran into. #1 As another reviewer mentioned the screw drivers are supposed to be color coded to the magnetic pad. Unfortunately the yellow and red tipped handles are reversed. #2 As another reviewer mentioned getting the screen off is not as easy as video indicates. Even with the heat gun the provided picks simply would not budge the screen. I ended up carefully using the tip of an exacto knife to get one corner lifted ( if you do this you MUST be very careful to not go in to far and also to not go anywhere near optics or cables. I used bottom right corner ) and then the provided pick easily slipped in and I worked it around the screen. #3 The magnetic pad is a nice touch as screws are very tiny and easy to lose. From past experience I used a large white poster board underneath on a square edged table with masking tape taped to the edge and sticking up 1/2”. Dropped scews several times and this setup made recovery easy. #4 As mentioned reassembly with the tiny screws requires a deft hand, very good lighting and patience. The magnetic tips on the drivers are a mixed blessing. #5 IMPORTANT. I Did the trial assembly as recommended and the phone did not turn on. According to instructions I had the battery at 25%. I followed the recommened procedures of cleaning and reinstalling cables and still nothing. I tried reinstalling original screen to see if perhaps I got a bad unit but this failed. I was about to give up hope when prior experience with Nicad batteries led my to try plugging the phone into the charger as I pressed the on button and voila! she fired right up! #6 Care on removing the sensors is stressed and again the removal in the video goes far easier than the reality. Mine were partially glued and required careful and gradual pressure to remove. This requires patience and skill. On reinstalling my face recognition works flawlessly. #7 As a nice touch they include a double sided sticky gasket but this too took patience the protective cover on the adhesive which contacts the phone case was easy to remove but getting the top protective cover off once the gasket was in place without ripping it or pulling it off was a *****. Overall very pleased. This kit has everything you need except a heat gun. It’s professionally packaged and well thought out. I definitely recommend it if you are determined to do a self repair on an Xr. This being said, it requires patience and skill. I attribute many of the critical reviews of results to poor installation and not the product itself. As I mentioned, I had prior experience and I’m glad I did. IMO the finished product equaled the original and I am very pleased.

Technically the new screen works. This isn’t my first time doing a screen replacement, but it is the first time I’ve seen the issues that this display has. When cold, the screen develops a flicker, and has touch issues when tho happens as well. Additionally, the tri-wing screwdriver from the kit was unable to remove even 1 screw, leaving me stranded with my broken phone until I could get a new screwdriver myself. Support did not respond to my request for a new screwdriver. Next time I’ll spend more for a better kit elsewhere.

This product is excellent quality., very functional, easy to install and perfect size. The brightness is top notch and the adhesive quality is great

Easy install fits perfectly

La pantalla cumple con su función, que es lo importante, pero tiene detalles La calidad es baja, los colores están más fuertes y más transparentes. Si se nota mucho el cambio con respecto a la pantalla original El touch es poco sensible, no es preciso Los marcos negros de al rededor de la pantalla no están parejos, están desproporcionados, más de la parte de abajo que el marco es más grueso Ah pasado casi una semana desde que la pantalla se instaló en el iPhone, y el True Tone dejó de funcionar y salió una mancha blanca en la pantalla

Reemplazo muy bien mi pantalla rota, trae todo lo necesario para hacer el cambio.
