Quality, Fit, Durability
Appears to be a quality product. Fit my feet very nicely. Very easy to install included clips. Have not had a chance to actually use them yet, but expect no issues.

$40 wasted!
Fit and appearance were perfectly acceptable. Shoes are CHEAPLY made and only lasted 1month and 1 week before the soles separated on both. They are engineered to last 30 days which is the Amazon return window and then you're stuck with them.

Too loose on ankle
These shoes are much too wide for me. I have narrow feet and the buckle strap is loose. I can place several fingers over bridge. I even tried some large insoles. If you have wider feet, this shouldn’t be a problem.

Solid entry level shoes
First, I'm usually between a EU size 47 or 48, so I got these in US size 13 (largest available) and they are snug on me, which means they are pretty true to size. If anything the heels feel a little loose, although I have narrow feet so not unusual. The shoes are solidly constructed of polyurethane synthetic leather with mesh inserts, and feel comfortable on the uppers. The velcro straps hold tightly, and the ratchet strap tightens and releases as it should. The soles are very stiff, which is good for pedaling efficiency, but makes them a little harder to walk on pavement than some other entry level shoes. The outsole surface is a very hard rubber, which makes them a bit slippery on indoor surfaces, compared to, say, sneakers. The two spiky cleats under the toe are removable (tool included), which is good, because I can't see that you'd ever need them unless you're riding cyclocross through mud pits. The shoes come with standard SPD two-hole cleats, and install easily with the included screws (put a dab of grease on so you can remove the cleats when they wear out!). The mounting plate recessed into the sole of the shoe actually has four holes (two pairs, see my photo) which is really odd since you only need two holes. You'll never run out of screws since it comes with 12, and you only need 4 - at least mine did! Bottom line, these are solid, but heavy, entry level shoes at a low price, and I'll keep them to see how they hold up in the long term.

better than expected
I am so impressed with these shoes, I have owned several pair of "bike" shoes for clipless pedals, but I have never seen a pair with sole features like these. Normally in bike shoes it is very uncomfortable to walk anywhere, they are fine when clipped in, but slippery and rigid on the ground, but these are a lot different, These feel like walking will be fine, almost normal even which is great for a bike shoe. Lots of times you end up walking quite a bit and if you only have one pair of shoes with you it can be a bad thing, but with these shoes I feel like I can pedal the bike without clipping in and I can hope off and walk when needed and it won't be an issue. I like these shoes.

Good shoes, nice that they come with useful SPD cleats
These shoes fit true to size, and are comfortable and breathe well. I particularly like that they come with the SPD cleats. They are not pre-assembled, but are very easy to screw on with just a few provided fasteners. They clip in and out very easily. Velcro closures make them quick to put on, and the ratcheting buckle reminds me of ski boots. I like how they work to adjust the fit and provide a solid closure to pull against.
