my mom recently had surgery and was buying leg wraps from walgreens and water kept getting into her foot no matter what she did, i bought these for her on amazon and she said they work AMAZINGLY! no water has gotten into her foot she just air dries them afterwards. will definitely keep buying more until her foot heals if she needs more.

This product works extremely well. I had some medical procedures done on both of my feet last Thursday and I was able to use these to take a shower. No leaks at all. I would highly recommend this product for that purpose.

This cast cover was a game changer for me! I had a accident and as a result, had a bad wound on my leg. Could not get the area wet and was told to wrap a trash bag or something similar around the area to prevent water getting on it. I found this and bought it to see if it really did the job of keeping the are totally dry . FABULOUS! I used this for 3 months when I showered and not one drop on my wound. Easy to slip on my leg and easy to clean and store. What a great product .

I used this over my splint and cast after my ankle surgery. It goes up to a little past the knee. Putting it on is a bit challenging, but thats because of the rubber being so tight to prevent the water coming through, which is necessary. Once it’s on it’s spacious and comfortable. The only minor problem I had with it, which I’m sure is the case for most of these products, is that the condensation from my hot shower would seep into the cast covering a little bit and would get steamy. This would cause some minimum moisture to get into the cast, which of course casts should be kept dry to avoid infections. Other than that though, this cast has done its just at keeping me dry! I also personally recommend still keeping your injured leg out of the shower if possible. I noticed when I had my foot down and the hot water was running on is when there was more condensation.

I purchased this cast cover to use in the shower so my 2-layer Unna boot wrap would stay dry. Here are the PROS: 1. The plastic is very thick which helps keep the area dry. 2. It's easy to put on and take off. 3. If you get the top seal to lay just right, no water gets inside it. 4. I was able to get 10 days of showers with no rips or tears. Here are the CONS: 1. It is a bit expensive compared to similar cast covers. 2. It is tough to get the seal to lay flush against your skin all the way around the leg which is the KEY TO KEEPING THE WATER OUT! 3. Sometimes a little water spills out from the rim when removing it. However, if you dry it thoroughly with a bath towel before removal, the spillage is very minimal. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, and I think it's a good value for the money. I'm no longer using it because my wrap was removed, but it's still usable. No tears or rips.

Brief history: To save money, I'd tried to make my own "homemade" boot with plastic bags. Terrible idea. Those plastic bags are very slippery (do not provide secure footing) and do not keep out water even if you use rubber bands to secure them. Jump to review: But this boot is great and totally water resistant. Also it is reusable. Material is thick and high quality. The opening is well considered and not too tight but keeps out water. I was told to keep my foot dry for two weeks and I used the boot every day and it kept its integrity and kept out water for the entire two week "trial period" (related to how I was using it.) This boot is a great value and worked perfectly for me. Highly recommended!

absolutely a must if you have a cast or a boot!!! Definitely waterproof and easy to get on and off.

I had surgery on the side of my foot and had to wear a bandage for several weeks. I was able to shower without any water touching my bandages foot. This product does what it says on the box. I was very gentle when pulling the rubber seal to slip my foot through - so not to rip it. The material is thick and fits snugly around my calf. Think of this as a giant rubber sock! Would recommend to anyone. Tip - use a clothes peg and hang upside down off the towel bar to drip dry. Thanks.
