Instructions mention that it can/should be used everyday. I did that, and after a month or so, I started to have HEAVY hairfall plus dandruff too! Stopped using it, and it has gradually returned back to normal. Also had to use special shampoo to control the dandruff. Now that I know more about skincare ingredients, I looked at the ingredients list and saw that this has salicylic acid at 2%! Salicylic acid is an exfoliant and it should be used like 2 times per week (esp because this is 2% and because you're leaving it in). So THAT'S the reason why I was having those issues. Don't get me wrong, salicylic acid can be great to control excess oil production in the scalp and can help with dandruff. My experience was good in the beginning, as the product soothed my scalp and the itchiness came down. But it should be used occasionally. I can't believe that they instruct you to use it everyday!

I’ve struggled with severe dandruff and constant scalp itching for years. Anti-dandruff shampoos helped only temporarily, and food like chicken or dairy always triggered flare-ups.
