This gas detector brought me peace of mind. I do have regular boiler checks and workers do check if there are any leaks but never detect anything. Well thing is that every now and then I do smell gas in the property but it is ever so difficult to prove this, and at the end I just decided to get this gas detector for my own peace of mind. Once I saw the case and opened it it gave sense of ot being quite professional equipment so was not sure if I will be able to use it. But after little research and reading instructions it was ever so simple to use it. When I do not use it I keep it in its case. Device itself is not big and is easily carried around. Comes with a charging lead so this removes the need for batteries. I think this is brilliant device.

The vendors description, measurements and pictures are accurate and correct. You will receive:1 gas detecting device, 1 storage box, 1 instruction book, charging power cable (USB A to USB C), one standard gas hood. The product is incredibly good quality. There is a certain weight and feel to it. On powering up the unit runs through checks to ensure the device is working within specified parameters. The unit checks for 4 gases: H2S - hydrogen 2 sulphide - a a potentially lethal gas produced by anaerobic bacterial decomposition of protein and other sulfur-containing organic matter. Human expelled gas contains 1ppm and has the iconic rotten egg smell. The alarm will sound at 10ppm (parts per million) CO - Carbon Monoxide - a gas which is produced on burning. Faulty house boilers can produce this gas. The alarm will sound at 50ppm (parts per million) 02 - Oxygen - a gas which humans need to breathe to stay alive. The earth typically has 21% oxygen in its atmosphere. levels lower than 19.5% will set off the devices alarm. LEL - Lower explosive limit - gases which combust easily (petroleum, natural gas etc) this alarm will sound when levels reach 20%. The unit comes with its own storage box - a sturdy thing with EVA protective padding foam. Also included is a standard gas hood - attach a pipe and it directs gases to the sensors. This product is good quality and works well. I am happy to recommend it.

I especially appreciated the vibration feature for situations where sound alarms might go unnoticed, like in a loud workspace. 4- One of the highlights is its impressive battery life, lasting up to 14 hours on a single charge. This is particularly useful for long work shifts. 5- The buttons are large, responsive, and easy to operate even with gloves on, which is a big plus for outdoor or indoor settings. Cons: 1- I wish it had better brightest than this. It is easy to read but not bright for me.

Perfect for when I'm using the gas heater, too easy to be affected by an unknown gas leak. It is capable of detecting four different gases. The accuracy of the detection is impressive, the visual, acoustic and vibrating alerts ensure that no warning is missed, which is crucial in situations where safety is at stake. The design is compact and sturdy, making it easy to carry without being bulky. The buttons are intuitive and easy to use. Comes with rechargeable batteries and a charging USB cable. Having bot a gas fire and a gas hob I am always aware of the risk of leaking gas, and this gas leak detector is probably useful to have around. I am no expert with gas, so I had to assume the default settings were the best ones. The device was easy to turn on, the menus were easy to operate (although as stated, I wasn't sure of the settings), the default password is 69, it does mention this in the manual. The unit looks well made, and it is good that it is rechargeable as that makes it a better choice in some ways, just make sure that you keep it charged though as it takes several hours to recharge. It comes well protected and presented in a hard shell plastic box, and it includes a manual, something that sadly is often missing these days. I tested it with the default settings by leaving it by the gas ring and turning it on. It took about 30 seconds before the alarm started sounding and the lights started flashing, so it seemed to work well. I am sure that if I knew what I was doing I could make it more sensitive too. All in all, this seems like a worthwhile investment if you have any concerns about your gas supply or appliances, and for £39.99 it seems reasonably priced.

Seems pretty accurate always nice to have when you’re using the propane heater in a tent or enclosed space being able to tell your oxygen levels and carbon monoxide gives you a little bit more of reassurance that you’re not gonna just wake up dead

Voilà plusieurs fois que je l'utilise en exploration sousterraine de carrières et mines abandonnées. Il semble précis et très pratique et n'a rien a envier à des alternatives plus "pro" et onéreuses que j'ai pu également tester. Cependant hormis pour l'O2, je n'ai pas encore pu tester les autres capteurs.

Funktioniert einwandfrei, und wurde schnell geliefert.

solocitamos la certificacion de los detectores y no la pueden dar. Tuvimos que hacer esta certificacion con un gtercero, con muchas limitantes, porque no se puede ingresar al sistema del equipo, dique por "Porteccion"
