I decided to try to make homemade potato chips, and picked up this to slice the potatoes. It comes with six different blades, one of which is for a wavy finish. I used that for the chips and it worked extremely well. The slices were just the right size for chips, and they came out great. Being able to slice with this device is such a time saver. I couldn't imagine sitting there trying to slice potatoes or anything else for twenty, thirty minutes or more. Took me maybe two minutes for six or seven potatoes at most. You are dealing with a sharp blade so you still need to exercise care. Clean up was simple. Clean all except the blade as you would clean other dishes. Rinse the blade, use the included brush to remove any debris that may be caught under it, rinse again. Device is sturdy, durable. I've used it a few times since buying it, and I expect it to last for a while. Veey easy recommendation! Buy it, make your own chips or whatever you want today!

Works wonderful ... easy to use and clean

I was initially hesitant about a mandolin, but this one is a serious time saver. The ease of assembly is minimal; it's practically ready out of the box. The vertical slicer design with the guarded feeder makes it incredibly hand safe and easy to use. The sturdiness is good; it stays put on the counter with the suction cup base. I’ve used it for potatoes and carrots, and switching between the 6 blades is quick. The overall quality of the plastic and blades feels durable, and it’s a massive upgrade for food prep.

So far this item has been great!! Love the ease of slicing my fruits and veggies. The shredding of cheese did not work out very well. I did slightly freeze it the second time and it was better but still difficult. I like that I can store everything in the container. Cleanup is easy.

I waited a long time to buy a mandolin due to the reviews about safety. I wanted to make a potato flatbread so ordered the Ourokhome Mandolin Slicer. WOW. This product works amazingly well. I has multiple blades, easy to change out. I used the 2mm blade for the potato slicing. There was no waste--potato was used down to a nub, and the holder with its metal prongs held the potato tightly. The slicing ability was outstanding, and I highly recommend!

I've wanted a mandoline for quite a while and I'm very happy with this one. I prefer to spend my time anywhere, BUT the kitchen so cooking in the kitchen isn't my happy place. This was a great buy. Blades are super sharp and I love that it drops right into a container and the blades are all stored in their own container.

Product works as expected - however should come with major caution to use cooking gloves when using .. this caused an unexpected visit to urgent care. The stick on gripping tool doesn’t work great.

It was very easy to use the first time and the quality seems good. It works well!
