Pond's 10305211793046 Extra Rich Dry Skin Cream, Caring Classic, 10.1oz Volume

When I was a youngster, in the 1960s , used to share a bedroom with my grandma. She always had a tub of ponds dry skin cream on her dressing table which I was allowed to use as and when I wanted. She was in her 70s then but had no wrinkles and attributed it to the use of this cream. Time passed and even into her 80s she continued to use the same regime and died with an amazing complexion. I continued to use this cream and although I have tried many more expensive products I too continue to use this lovely product. It is harder to buy now but it is still the same product that I first used in the 1960s during my early teenage years. I am now in my 70s and not only do I have lovely soft skin with few wrinkles but when I open the jar and smell the distinct aroma of ponds I am transported back to those long gone days and memories of my amazing grandmother. I love it and would say give it a try you may be pleasantly surprised.

As it says on the label - this is the legendary Pond's Cold Cream - in a plastic container - not the old glass one!!

This is a good moisturiser but I was hoping for a really thick, night time cream. Having said that, My skin absorbs this pretty quickly and it does leave skin feeling moisturised and soft - just wanted a heavier cream to slap on at night as my skin gets so dry now I’m in my 50’s. Has a strong perfumey smell too, so might not be great for sensitive skin types On the whole it’s ok, I’d buy it again

I am very pleased with this cream . Glides on easily and makes my skin feel good. My mother used it and she had a lovely smooth skin Having spent a lot of time sunbathing - mine is not so great Read the other reviews -all positive. Will last awhile -lovely large jar. By the time I need to reorder hope Amazon have this size in stock again.

The reviews on this cream were very mixed but I thought it worth a go. The pot is much larger than I expected so great value. The smell is quite strong but Im used to it now, and think it smells a bit like ginger. I have always had dry akin and hormonal breakouts. I used to use an expensive brand and have tried various but I wanted to go back to basics with a trusted and inexpensive brand. For the first few weeks, this made me breakout even more but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Pretty quickly, the spots stopped coming and I now have very clear and hydrated skin. It looks better now than it has in years and Im glad I worked through it and persevered. I won’t buy another brand again!

This product was received damaged, with a crack in the bottom of the plastic jar.

No puedo vivir sin esta crema. Mi piel es bastante sensible y esta es la única crema que no me irrita la piel, además hidrata muy bien y tiene un olor muy suave y delicado.
