I got this puzzle for my 6-year-old grandson’s birthday, At first we were disappointed because it didn’t seem to work. The description on the website said that when you solve the puzzle, ALL the gears will turn. That is not correct. Only the two large gears have to turn simultaneously, which means that you have connected them. Once we read the directions carefully, we began to enjoy the puzzle to the point that it became addictive. The easier puzzles are easy enough for a child, while the harder puzzles are challenging enough for adults who are good at visual-spatial activities. My daughter said that the next morning, she went downstairs and found my grandson working on the puzzles. He had done several on his own. My daughter said she has done about 80 of the puzzles. I only got through the first 15 before we had to come home, but I found them so addictive that I’m thinking of getting one for myself. This is a great activity which can be enjoyed on many levels. I especially like that it does not involve electronics.

This company makes great games. Fun and challenging, well-made, aesthetically pleasing. The extra detail of needing to connect and move the gears across the board makes this version of this type of puzzle/game especially fun.

Bought this game as a gift for someone, played it that day, loved it so much I ordered myself one. Various levels of challenge, portable.
