Pantasy's modular buildings are amazing deals, vastly cheaper than Lego but just as good. They use GoBricks, which are actually better than Lego (no color inconsistency here), and the designs are filled with numerous tiny, clever details (here referencing both the Sherlock stories and the Cumberbatch TV show), making the interior of Lego's modulars feel half baked by comparison. The exterior is attractive, with its fall foliage, though brown flowers are a questionable choice: they exist but are very uncommon in real life. The two manuals are clear, easy to follow, and attractive, as is the box art. Like other Pantasy sets, almost all pieces with images are printed. There are, unfortunately, three stickers, something no manufacturer should be including at this point. A Funwhole-style light kit would be nice, too, but Funwhole is still the only manufacturer including full, custom light kits with sets. For those who like them, it's worth noting there are no minifigures included in the set. Those are really quibbles, though, given the quality of the design, the fun of the building process, the excellence of the bricks, and the look (and big size) of the finished building. This is a real steal that would make an attractive addition to any brick-built street scene!

First, the design - this piece is absolutely delightful. The attention to detail and the surprising references to various Sherlock Holmes stories are intriguing and gives you so much to check out. I wish there were a lighting kit because it would be nice to see the interior without separating the floors but maybe I can figure something out. In any case, the overall piece is excellent! Very well done! Now, the construction - the bricks and various detail pieces are well built. Fittings are mostly very tight - there were a very few, maybe a handful, that felt a little loose, but everything else fit or snapped into place firmly and holds together well. I would prefer a few more supporting bricks on the second and top floors but the floor does hold together well. There were no missing pieces. Instructions - The instructions were fairly easy to follow however some pieces were a little difficult to identify, due to the colors and shapes being fairly close. It would have been helpful to have a parts list with a picture of the part so that you could compare the counts and be sure you have the right part.

This is an absolutely fantastic set, so much detail and well worth the price for how many peices you get. Everything was accounted for and instructions were pretty simple with only a few confusing bits. I have two complaints with the set one of which being that there is virtually no way to access the interior leaving a lot of the work you do completely unseen. You can open doors and windows but the inside is so dark you can't see anything. The simple addition of LEDs to light up the inner space would elevate the entire set. Secondly, the set comes with every piece you will need and that's it. No extras at all. In a set that is as detailed and intricate as this one there were a lot of times I lost single stud pieces or small decor items. Would have been glad for a few extras. Aside from that I absolutely love this set and encourage everyone to get it.

Update: Today, my missing piece arrived, so I'm upgrading my review to 4 stars because Pantasy delivered. It took two months to arrive, but Pantasy sent me more than enough extra pieces to finish tiling the ground floor. Perhaps the extras are their way of thanking me for my patience. Strangely, the package came from an individual in California rather than from the company in China. If your Pantasy set is missing pieces and you reach out to them, their Customer Service Department will respond right away, but be prepared for a long delivery time. Original review: If I were rating the building only, I'd give it 5 stars for aesthetics because I love the British look of it, but there's more to this product than the building. I like the horse and carriage, but I hate the newly designed figures in this set: their oversized heads make them look like bobbleheads or Funko figures, and their large oval-shaped eyes make them look like zombies. Also, the figures in this set can't sit because they don't have separate legs in a sitting position like some other Pantasy sets have. I appreciate the details printed on them, but these figures will remain hidden in the building. My set was missing a tile for the ground floor. As of this writing, it's been more than one month since Pantasy supposedly shipped a replacement to me, and I have yet to receive it. (Lego and Lumibricks are able to ship me missing pieces much quicker than that.) If I ever receive the part, I'll upgrade my rating a bit.

This is my first Pantasy purchase, and I am so pleased! The quality is outstanding and the instructions are clear. There are no missing pieces, and the set is just so much fun!

The build was fun, the quality was incredible, if not better than Lego. The only disappointment is that it was missing/or did not have mini-figs. I would have really like to have them, I have many Pantasy sets from the bakery the Theater. I will soon have the Motorcycle Diner, can't wait to have it for the collection. These sets are great, the others seem to have mini-figs, which I love.

211B is well made and creatively designed. Only partially finished and missing a couple of pieces that I worked around from my extras. Instructions are clear and help identify large pieces by giving you the “bumps” per piece. This set would be twice as expensive if a Lego. I like that a lot. Give it a shot. I think you will be pleased.

We bought this Pantasy 221B Baker Street set as a gift for a Sherlock Holmes fan, and it was a hit. The details are charming, the build is fun without being frustrating, and the finished apartment looks fantastic on display. A great present for anyone who loves Holmes, mysteries, or beautifully designed building sets.

Adepte de lego, j’étais septique de la qualité de ce genre de bloc mais j’ai eu un coup de cœur pour le modèle. À ma grande surprise, je suis très satisfaite de la qualité de l’ensemble les explications sont claires, les blocs s’emboîtent très bien. Les couleurs sont belles Vraiment très satisfaite!

The item itself may be wonderful and from what I could tell is of good quality. However, the item arrived with the temper evident tape showing signs of previous opening of the box. Instruction manuals had signs of wear on the corner. There's so many small item bags in the box that I wasn't willing to take the risk of missing something since this was supposed to be a present. Item returned for a replacement. Update 06/09/2024 Replacement has arrived - changed review from 3 to 5 stars. Very happy with the item quality, in particular no stickers - everything is printed. Still not happy about Amazon sending initially an opened item but the product itself is top notch.

Quedé muy satisfecho con ese set!! Llego muy rápido la Paqueteria y todo venía en buenas condiciones, desde la caja, los manuales y las bolsas selladas. Vale la pena la compra en relación precio, cantidad de piezas y calidad de los materiales, no tenía ninguna expectativa solo el gusto de armar la casa de Sherlock holmes , es mi primer set de Pantasy, este set esta diseñado para las personas que les gusta armar sets de casas o edificios para las pequeñas ciudades que cada quien construye, es buen punto para la imaginación, tiene demasiados detalles y cuidaron mucho el parecido con la casa museo de sherlock, vale mucho la pena pues si hacemos un pequeño comparativo con la marca lego, aquí cambian un poco los diseños clásicos por ejemplo de las escaleras, los muebles , cuadros y tiene muchos detalles que si le dan esa imagen de época al set !! Tengo algunos sets de lego en los cuales siento que les falta detalle, la marca ya escatima demasiado en el número de piezas y los detalles, a menos que sean sets muy grandes y demasiado costosos. Aquí los espacios de este set, son muy amplios y están llenos de detalles, cada habitación, cada mueble, todo hace una experiencia muy buena en general, el único plus que siento que le falto al set es incluir algunos personajes, entiendo lo de las licencias y demás , pero creo que aunque el costo se elevara un poco sería genial que los incluyeran, para que esté completa la experiencia de Sherlock holmes !! Me gustó mucho la marca como tal !! Y si volvería a comprar algún otro set que me llame la atención!! Lo recomiendo ampliamente !!

Enfin la qualité de la grande marque habituelle retrouvée chez un compétiteur que je qualifirais de sérieux. Je suis une très grande fan de Sherlock et quand j'ai vu 221B Baker Street, il fallait que je l'achète. Les détails dans cet ensemble sont époustouflant et la qualité des pièces, les livrets d'instructions sont parfait. Le prix, lui, est plus que parfait pour cet qualité de produit. J'espère que Pantasy va continuer son travail avec plein de nouveaux modèles. Merci
