This is great stuff. As a serious lifter I use it for strength and muscle building, as recommended by many of the old-time lifters and especially by Michael H. Brown, who learned to use it from the great Mits Kawashima back in the day. Their recommendation was to add 1 tbl. to pineapple juice in the morning and again before bed. The enzymes in the pineapple juice help with the digestion and rapid uptake of the powder. I used to use Beverly liver tablets, which are good, but choking down handfuls of horse tablets all day got to be the bane of my day and I began to hate it, which should never be the case with something that should help you. The powder, for me is the most convenient way to take large doses and slug it down in one shot. I noticed much better strength and recovery after 1 week (I've been using this for several months now). I'm not saying my lifts went up 20 lbs each or that I gained 10lbs of muscle, but I for damn sure feel the difference. I just felt more powerful I guess you could say. As a full time logger and part time blacksmith, in addition to lifting and a wide variety of other training methods (isometrics, bands, etc.) recovery is always an issue. This helps. I feel it when I'm in the woods and I feel it when I lift. I'm less sore and therefore less stressed out, which in turn indirectly helps my sleep. Good health effects everything. I've worked up to 2 tbl in juice each day, and as weird as it sounds I look forward to it. It will probably gross you out a little bit the first time you take it, but it's not bad and mostly in your mind. The minerally taste combined with juice isn't bad once it is routine and the juice helps to mask some of the flavor...which now that I'm used to it I don't need to mask it and sometimes mix in water in a pinch. Now that I know it works and enjoy the results I look forward to taking it. Toss that powder in and stir it good and slug it down in one or two goes. I actually enjoy it now, but I didn't when I first started taking it. Dessicated liver powder from a good source is an excellent addition to helping you if you do heavy labor and or are a serious strength athlete. For others I know that it has benefits, but I don't know as much about it. Personally, I try to get most of my nutrition and supplements in natural form. I don't take the latest pre workouts, post workout drinks, high tech protein blends, or much of any of that, and I am in far better condition than I was in my teens and twenties when I did. I eat lots of protein keep the grains and carbs low, take my liver and cycle various herbal supplements and deer antler velvet powder, and keep it old school and simple. It works and this stuff works. Good brand.

I love this stuff...it tastes delicious to me. Good quality, gives me energy...I need to order some more. I add it to my smoothies or even just mix with water and make a paste. Some may find me strange, but I love liver and I find this delicious. Gives me a nice kick of energy when I eat a tablespoon or two, sometimes almost hyper, nice rush of B vitamins!

Awesome product but make sure you mix it with something, the taste is awful!

I got this to add to my homemade dog food as it was recommended from a vet and some ground multivitamins to top their food with. No sugar In there it was easy to spread on their food and didn’t lump up either. So fast to add good ingredients and cheaper than store bought and easier to store, less space.

I've just got to say how much I love this product. I love that it is free of pesticides and other toxins, and that it is undefatted. The nutrients in the supplement need good fats to be assimilated by the body. Also, the fine powder tastes sweet and fresh, like a cross between steak and dark chocolate - weird, huh? I didn't care for the grainy consistency of cooked beef liver as a kid, but I never minded its hearty flavor, so this beef liver powder is perfect. Since it doesn't dissolve well when stirred into a glass of water, and leaves a wasteful residue in the bottom of the glass, I began pouring the 1/4 teaspoon of powder into my mouth and following it with water. Then I swish it around and swallow. (Don't try and swallow it dry, unless you enjoy choking.) I actually savor the taste, and that way I get all of it. It's something I look forward to daily. It gives me a boost of energy, and seems to be building a bit of muscle - and I'm a woman that doesn't actively work out. I'm adding this several months later: When a physical checkup discovered that my niece was anemic, I gave her a dose. Within minutes, her cheeks got pink instead of white. She looked and felt better right away, and after a couple of days of taking 1/4 teaspoon per day, she was no longer anemic. And I have had recent internal bleeding. Even so, my hemoglobin count has been normal each time it has been checked. The doctors and nurses have been amazed. The beef liver powder really helps! CurEase is packaged in a plastic bag container that can be resealed, but I transferred mine to a glass spice jar. The standard directions call for a rounded 1/4 teaspoon of liver powder in vegetable juice, tomato juice, or protein shake, 1-2 times per day. I use water. I recommend CurEase Argentine Beef Liver Powder.
