I used a wired Redragon mouse for my desktop a few years ago, it was nothing special, no gaming features or anything but it was cheap and reliable and I never had any issues. So I thought I'd give this one a shot for my in-bed/traveling laptop gaming, and it shines in every way. Every button is programmable, the RGB lighting is true multi-color LED lit with brightness settings and pattern speed, there are tons of settings to tweak including the color of the scroll wheel for different DPI zones and individual DPI zones can have their DPI fine tuned to your exact desired feel. It has a configurable polling rate up to 1000hz, although it defaults to 125. I imagine this is to save battery life. The real kicker is that this is advertised as a lightweight gaming mouse like other honeycomb shell mice, and the product page claims 100 grams which is decently impressive. But weighing it with a high-accuracy digital kitchen scale, it's actually even lighter, at 95g! They are underselling this thing. It is the lightest full-sized wireless mouse I have ever used. The software includes macro recording for button assignment and it works well. The macros can also be manually edited after recording or programmed manually which is really nice. Very pleased that Redragon would include this kind of advanced functionality for power users. In terms of feel, it's a claw grip and not a palm grip, so it makes the weight even more important. It has a good hand feel with textured sides and the two side buttons have a different height and texture so you can discern which is which just by touch. I didn't experience any fatigue after a few hours of gaming. I have not yet drained the battery but 4 hours of MMO gaming took it down to 80% with RBG lighting turned on and brightness lowered. Didn't experience any hiccups, lag or disconnection issues. Mouse tracking is very accurate at 1000hz, but I turned off "increase pointer precision" in the software because it seemed to introduce a strange-feeling acceleration/deceleration. With it off my movements were 1:1. Overall, you're probably not going to get something with this solid of a build, at this weight, with this many buttons and features at the $40 price point anywhere else. It's fantastic. The only complaint I have, and it's so minor that it doesn't affect the 5 star rating in my opinion, is that the rear 3rd top button is very far back and requires you to curl your index finger all the way back to press it. As a result I have it bound to a function I use often but not often enough that I'd get annoyed having to hit it all the time. In fact if they had made all 3 buttons on top slightly shorter and closer together it would have solved this issue entirely. But again, it's a minor issue, and I've already adjusted to it. Great job Redragon!

Great battery life and lots of options in the software. The RGB lighting is a little disappointing, I thought there'd be more but it's ok. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the ergonomics, I found that my arm was cramping up quickly. That's the only thing that would make me not recommend it. I'd use it for basic daily tasks, not gaming.
