Cute with Harry Potter costume. I had to use pins to keep it in place but it worked

This Hedwig is adorable and definitely makes a Harry Potter costume stand out. That said it does not say on a shoulder unless you’re willing to just sit perfectly still which most kids are not going to be doing. We considered attaching it with pins, but the nature of the fabric robes is really, not friendly to that- it will ruin the robe. I’m also not set up to sew those slippery fabrics. We solved the problem by attaching it to the shoulder for some photos, and then actually tying it around the forearm. I would still recommend this but I think they need to make it clear that the functionality of staying on the shoulder is simply not there. The price was a little bit too much, but it did make the costume extra special and in that way is a good value for money. As a stuffed animal, it’s soft, cuddly, and cute. The Velcro band will definitely accommodate a wide variety of arm size, but do you keep in mind that you’re going to need to figure out a functionality of getting it around an arm if you expect to move. The owl itself is definitely durable, and the Velcro seems to be good quality.

It’s really cute, but not very comfortable to wear. I was able to snap a few pictures of my 7 year old wearing it, but he could not wear it for very long because the strap is so tight. This is definitely made for young kids and would probably not fit someone much older than my kid.

So cute for a HP costume! The loop is a little too big for kiddos to wear on their arm but mine enjoyed carrying it around.

Very cute. It's cuteness makes up for it's inability to stay on my daughter's shoulder. The velcro started coming off and we had to resew. Still, I'd buy again because it's adorable.

It’s so cute and was definitely the most commented on component of my son’s Harry Potter costume. He’s small and it didn’t stay well on his shoulder but wrapping it around his forearm worked well so no complaints from me

This is great for dealing with the trauma of reading the seventh book. Perhaps 8 was too young to progress that far into the series.We got this cute Hedwig instead of therapy. Time will tell if this was a good idea or not.It’s difficult to put on your shoulder, but it’s a cool arm band, like you’re standing with your arm up and your little hedwig on your forearm.Cute and well made, we let him be a toy for now, but I’m sure he will make it onto the Halloween costume if we do Harry Potter again.
