Is it bright enough for reading?

Oh yes its bright enough, I have one beside the bed on the wall its around 3 feet away from me. I just reach out in the dark and touch it to light me to the bathroom. I have had them now for years always keep one charged up to replace as soon as one gets low, they are great, have them in the caravan too beside the bed, saves getting out to pull a cord for the over head light, really impressed with these lights.

Does this light have a sensor or you have to switch it on?

Is it suitable for bathrooms

This rechargeable tap light is not waterproof, however, the casing is tight, and there is a back plate which will cover the Micro USB charging port and other installing holes when installed. So this light could be used in washroom or bathroom, shower room, etc., small or light damp is ok, shower room small vapor is ok, and if you install this touch light on the wall which we suppose is ceramic tile, normally it is plain and double-sided sticker applicable as long as it is clean, so if the wall is temporary small wet, we think it is ok, if it is always very wet, we would like to recommend you to find other suitable places where it is not always so wet in the bathroom to install this tap light. All in all, please put this touch light in dry areas as much as you could. Be sure the light is dry especially when you are going to connect it with power sources to charge. The way of installing this tap light is simple, firstly stick the double-sided adhesive pad on the wall or furniture, and then stick the back plate together with the light to it, that's it. Do you need to unstick it to recharge it?

There is a backing on this light, when you install this light, just put the sticky pad on the backing and stick on this touch light on the wall. If you need to recharge this touch light, just twist the light bit off to take the light body off to charge, and the backing stays on the wall.
