These water bottles are amazing. I can leave it in my hot car for a day and it will still be cold the next day! I have ordered a couple now. Very nice!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas because he needed a new Contigo. I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t know it was the straw kind but my husband ended up actually loving it. He has arthritis in his right fingers so he likes that he doesn’t have to push a button to drink out of this one. The color is nice, easy to use, straw size is perfect, keeps super ice cold.

Winner winner by far the best water bottle drinking lid ever. This lid actually works not leaking and stays working for years and years. Note I never run the lid in the dishwasher, I just rinse it under hot water; and occasional shake the bottle with a drop of dish soap. This bottles opens with one hand, with push of a button. As the mechanism is inside the bottle it doesn't get accidentally opened like other designs. I am very pleased with this product. How happy this is the only water bottle we use except huge two liter water bottles with simple screw tops. After using this and similar Contigo bottles for years we have a big box of retired bottles in the basement, some expensive, other with logos, to good to toss out but not as good as this style. I gave several Contigo bottles of a slightly different model with a very similar type of lid as gifts to my family eight years ago I see them still in use today. I bought these two new ones here a couple of years ago for my son as he had carried his original one to school and soccer for six years and while still working fine it was beat up and he kept "accidentally" taking mine. As long as these are used only for water they do not leak and will look good and work well for many years. I have used mine for tea and various flavored sugar free drink powders so mine is stained inside the lid, but still working fine. These two new ones are working just fine for my son two years later. I do not recommend these for drinks containing milk due to the need to actually clean the inside of the lid rather than just rinse it if used with milk; this said I have use mine for hot chocolate in the winter many times, it just takes a bit more attention to clean it after use. If used for drinks with solids like orange juice pulp the solids can interfere with the lid seal. The instructions say not recommended for carbonated drinks; I concur after getting sprayed with a face full of diet soda when I didn't hold the bottle upright before opening it.

LOVE this waterbottle. Very durable.it fell onto pavement many times and held up really good. It keeps the liquid cool which is great! Only annoying thing is having to deal with the straw. Once i took it out to clean it better and I had to forever push it in really hard almost everytime i refilled because the straw would slip just enough when i open the lid to refil and when i closed it, it was really hard to suck the water out since it fell a little it was too close to the bottom. Other then that it worked well and i love the color!

I really like this water bottle, i keep slightly warm water in it for winter time, it hold the heat a long time, great to have a handle on this one, my old one had not handle. wish it had more colors , size is great, easy to use, can be noisy to drink from, it came with a quite straw in the bottle, but i ditched that.

As Durable As A Single Sheet of Wet Toilet Paper. Let me paint a picture of the brutal, high-stakes athletic life this water bottle has been forced to endure for the past two months. My "intense" workouts consist of me, at the gym with my personal trainer, successfully lifting the 45-pound bar. That's it. Just the bar. No weights. My greatest athletic achievement is not pulling a muscle while getting out of my truck. This bottle has been treated more gently than a Fabergé egg in an earthquake. It's been exclusively hand-washed and has never been dropped, thrown, or even looked at with aggressive intent. And yet, after only a couple of months of this pampered existence, it falls apart. The little milky-white silicone piece that connects the internal straw to the mouthpiece—the very soul of its drinking mechanism—has spontaneously developed a tear-hole I could stick my pinky finger through. The "leakproof AUTOSPOUT" is now about as useful as an ejector seat on a helicopter. Sipping from it is a gurgling, air-filled tragedy. I'm truly baffled. For a brand like Contigo, I expected a bottle that could at least withstand the sheer force of being lifted to my mouth by someone whose primary form of cardio is walking to the fridge. I've had cartons of milk in my fridge that have demonstrated more structural integrity and longevity. So, if your daily activities include competitive napping or you need a sleek-looking paperweight, this might be the bottle for you. If you actually plan on drinking from it for more than a few weeks, I’d suggest you keep looking. This thing couldn't handle my lifestyle, and frankly, that's saying something.

I have owned Contigo stainless steel water bottles in the past and wanted the same type and quality; these meet my requirements. I like the straw funtion as it is easier to drink from while driving or riding my bike (one handed operation). Yes, the straw will splash you in the face if you open it quickly towards your face; simply point it away or cushion the straw as it opens. I like the new larger size as the old 20 ounce version were just a little too small for me. I also like the wider mouth as I can now put it under the ice dispencer in the refrigerator and fill it directly instead of filling a glass first then slowly feeding them into the narrow mouth of the old version.

We bought this water bottle because my 8 year-old daughter needed an upgrade for school. She is super diligent about filling this and taking it with her throughout the day both at home and at school. My only complaint is almost a silly one: it's almost *too tall* because she keeps knocking it over, and it has landed on the floor so many times now that the bottom has been dented around the edge making it even less stable! I'll take that as a sign that she's just making really good use of the product, and given how many times she has dropped it, I think it has been amazingly resilient.

Love the larger size since I play a lot of sports. Keeps things cold for longer and very easy to clean.

Love these water bottles. Good size fits most car cup holders, doesn't a great job keeping liquids cool over a long period and I love the fact it has a straw which makes it easier to drink in a car while driving (the straw can also be remove if you prefer). The closing system is also pretty good and prevents accidental leakage if the bottle is not sitting up. You can also lock the mechanism from being accidentally opened. The biggest downfall of this product is cleaning the spout, I use this product only for water. The spout is cleanable but there are still areas that are susceptible to mold and it becomes tricky to open up the mechanism to keep it clean. I was told to wash the head piece in the dishwasher, but I fear it will brake it overtime given the amount of heat produced by the washer. I can also say, that the warranty for this product is great as well, I've replaced to older models with the company by filling out there warranty repair on the website sent them pictures of problem (aluminum base of the base separated) and sent me news right away
