Q: Can it be used with a hairdryer?

Yes but the drier the hair the less effect the brush is, I would say work best with wet or damp hair.

Q: What is the attachment for?

The attachment keeps each section to stay put. Without it they bend all over the place. Which is good for serious knots. But the attachment slots in with each bit. Helping them keep in place.

Yes it can be used on wigs and natural hair , great on Afro hair also .

Q: How and where do you attach the clip?

The clip is attached at the back of the brush. There are holes at the top end which gives a normal brush and further holes towards the middle which gives a wider brush. The wider brush I find makes it easier to detangle and dry my thick hair quickly.
