Hopefully, never needed but problem solved if I do need them.
I had a dreadful episode of throwing up beside a bus stop. Not sure what caused it but it would have been much worse if it happened on the bus. I didn't even have a carrier bag, I had to leave the mess for people to hopefully avoid. This was the first time it happened outside but I occassionally have instant sickness in the house. Problem solved with these bags. I keep one by my armchair and a couple in my man bag and another couple beside my bed - just in case it is needed. These bags have an absorbant pad thing to soak up the liquids, a draw string to keep it closed and easy to dispose of. Hopefully I'll never use them but if I do, I'll be glad I have them. ***Update*** I was so glad I took these with me when I went to Morrisons for breakfast this morning. I had only managed a forkfull when I suddenly realised I was going to be sick. It was utterly embarasing. No time to dash to the toilet. Fortunately I had a sick bag in my man bag and pulled it out. The bag was fit for purpose. Large enough to take the contents of my stomach, the absorbant pad soaked up the vomit and the drawstring to keep it tightly closed until I could dispose of it properly. The sick bag was great, it did what was expected. I now need to wait until Monday to see the doc as to why I'm being sick.

Travel Essential
These have become an essential to keep in the car. My grandson suffers with travel sickness and these are so much better than a bowl as liquid is absorbed by the liner. He can just grab one if the need arises and once used they can be tied up, keeping in the smell, and disposed of at the next stop. Also small enough to keep a couple in you handbag if needed for when travelling in other peoples cars or on buses. I have even had occasion to use one myself when struck with a migraine while travelling. On our second pack now. I wish I'd had these when my children were small.

Brillant product!
I don't think I will ever be without these again! We just had a camping nightmare where three of my four children were struck with a vomiting bug. These were my saviour. No sick bowls to clean out and with three vomiting there would've been a fight for said "sick bowl". They were very absorbant as listed and just throw away once used. I was a tad hesitant as they seemed pricey but I can now say without hesitation that they were one of the best buying chances I've taken. They will most certainly be a repeat order.

Fab product! Life saver
Never thought I’d find myself reviewing a sick bag. Got these for car journeys and 4 and 6 year old are often unwell. Had to use them a few times and they’re so handy! 4 year old initially thought it was to place on her lap so she could hurl all over her knees and keep her leggings clean. Once I’d explained what to do she got the hang of it and they did a great job of containing all the yuck... only given 4 stars and some younger children could do with a ring/hoop to hold the bag open but my 4 year old managed it once I’d shown her. They’re pretty big so capable of holding a lot and it’s great to tie it up and chuck it. Saved me a lot of hassle and made the kids feel better having them. I also now keep some in backpack and airing cupboard for emergencies.

No leakage whatsoever Great bags
I keep a couple in my car just in case and I’m glad I do as after collecting my teenage son from hanging out with his mates he got in the car feeling queasy after being spun round on a kiddies spinning bucket chair thingie. Bad idea he said. Anyway on the way home he said he thought he was going to be sick so I passed him a bag and sick he most certainly was. Big time! The bag held everything and believe me there was a lot! No leakage and The draw string is great meaning it stayed in the bag and not all over my car until we were able to dispose of it properly.

Perfect for the job
My 11 year old who's suffered from severe TS throughout his life( poor thing) took these on a school trip to France and they were indispensable. Paper vomit bags (filched from our frequent plane rides abroad) tend to perish in his pockets, but these plastic ones with the gel inner were just perfect for him, also being very handy for a particularly stomach churning ride in EuroDisney! You won't regret buying them, even though they're quite pricey.

God send
I am a serious suffer of gastric problems I can be sick up to three to four weeks of constant vomiting. These bags are a god send it presents no leaks no matter the amount I bring up, very hygiene friendly with the tie up top. I carry them with me everywhere I go. Now my youngest has been diagnosed with a lesser illness we keep one in this school bag and jacket pocket just in case he has to use the. Saved me hours of scrubbing vomit from clothing and embarrassing clean ups at work (one can clean up the spill but never get rid of the sickly smell in the bathroom for the next person). I use to use the hospital sick bowls but I kept dropping them as after a point I found them to heavy to hold. This illness makes me very weak and I have yet to drop a bag due to its weight. Over all a solid bag. God send.
