Amazing 10.5” three-ply stainless steel pan. I bought it like new from Amazon and it was still in the original packaging so it was new. The pan cooks evenly, has a nice heft so it’s not flimsy and not likely to warp. It looks and performs like a much more expensive high quality pan. I could not be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Read so many reviews. Followed the directions and seasoned the pan before cooking. Heated on medium heat until the pan passed the water drop test, before adding oil. Even googled for extra tips on how to make stainless steel non-stick. Alas, my eggs stuck, a large fried egg mess. Tried again the next morning filling the pan with a thin layer of water to poach. Still to no avail...a poached egg mess. I so wanted to get away from non-stick pans due to the health concerns, but this pan was NOT it. SO disappointed.

I compared the T-fal 10 inch to a similar 10 inch frying pan in the same price range. The T-fal is heavier, 1170gm vs 996gm. And the T-fal feels more substantial. There is a nice edge lip on the T-fal. Normally I would reach for a non-stick pan for frying eggs, but today I used fried eggs to test the T-fal. I will probably still use non-stick in the future, though the T-fal performed well as a stainless steel pan would do. Sadly the U shaped handle of the T-fal is a deal breaker for me. Some people like U shaped handles on their cookware. I don't.
