Bought this as a backup welder after my main welder quit working. Takes a little tweaking to get the settings right, but once you do this thing is very capable of laying down some pretty good welds. For a hobbyist or occasional welder, this machine will not disappoint!

This welder is really impressive! Ive been welding professionally for 18 years doing various types and have lots of different experience! There are some bad reviews i saw on this people saying the wire feeder malfunctions and from what I can say is ive never had any problems at all with it. I do think any issues people may have would probably be user error. Ive only used the mig function on 120v. Im super interested in seeing what it's capable of using the 240v but haven't had the opportunity to use it like that so ill just have to wait and see i guess. Buy this you wont be disappointed!

I was in the middle of building a trailer for my side by side and four wheelers when my $1300 Esab welder just quit. I bought the Yeswelder 185 and have been EXTREMELY pleased with it. There is a smooth steady arc, leaves a smooth bead, the wire feed works well,(I think a lot of people run it too tight which causes bird nest and jumping problems, looser the better). It outperforms the more expensive welder hands down. Now: Amazon is really starting to piss me off when they say delivery tomorrow but then change it to two day. Looks good, easy setup, easy to read panel even outside. I went with the Mig-185ds pro because of price and also wanting the option to be able to add on lift tig and spool gun at a later date and way I understood it from my own research the 185 was the smallest that would work with the spool gun but I am happy with my purchase

Great welder for the money absolutely worth it . By the 4th bead with a little fine tuning. Stacking dimes that was at 110v flux core wire . With very little splatter . Haven't tried it on 220v yet . Insane welder for the price . Pick up their welding helmet at the same time Lyg-0m-800h . And some spools of wire . All outstanding products!
