Extremely pleased with the cut I get from these clippers! The build quality, look, and feel are all top-notch — they have a solid, professional design and the precision adjustability is excellent. The performance is smooth and consistent whether used corded or cordless, and the battery life has been phenomenal. Truly a great investment for anyone who values quality and precision. This thing is the real deal. Very powerful, cuts like butter as long as you oil regularly, and has great battery life. All the components are high quality including the adjustment lever. The only time it pulls hair is no guard lever all the way open, but that doesn't last for more than a few seconds. Very ergonomic shape to it as well, easy to hold with a nice rubber design. Only negative is that it does get hot, but that really only affects you when you have no guard on the clipper. Easy 5/5 star and it's high quality has helped me get very good at giving myself a fade weekly.

My wife is a dog groomer, so she gives me home haircuts and these haven't been used in a professional setting. We've always used Wahl products and been happy with them, but I was looking for a nicer set of cordless clippers for her to use. We both love these clippers. The package comes with several shorter guards which is nice. They're a good balance between quiet, powerful, and they're lightweight. The battery lasts for several haircuts on a one charge. The cut is nice, no pulling. I have fine, thin hair so I can't attest to how they work on thick/coarse hair. They work great for trimming my beard as well though. The only thing close to a complaint is that they do tend to get hot! We use blade cooling/lubricating spray to cool them off and lubricate the blades as needed. I wish they came with some type of carry case to keep everything organized, but since it doesn't we just put everything back in the original box after use for storage.

⭐️ Review from a professional barber with over 10 years of experience Wahl Clipper Company has truly fallen off a cliff over the past five years when it comes to professional barber tools—and I’ve just been reminded why. I was a loyal Wahl customer for the first seven years of my career, mainly using the Wahl Seniors and Wahl Magic Clips. But after dealing with several clipper failures—especially terrible battery life, where they barely lasted 6–12 months—I finally switched to Babyliss. Fast forward to April 20, 2025: I was in the market for some new clippers and heard some great things about the Wahl Vapors. Honestly, I absolutely loved them at first. They gave me hope that maybe Wahl was making a comeback! But after about a week of use, the lever started to get loose and slide on its own while I was fading—a big “no-no” in our line of work. Even so, I kept using them because I genuinely liked the cut quality and feel. Then today, I flew out to Vegas to do a house call for a very important client, and the clipper lever completely stopped adjusting the blade. I opened them up to see what was wrong and discovered the entire housing where the lever attaches was completely worn out. Worst of all, there’s no replacement part for it, and since I’m outside the 30-day return window, I’m stuck. What a complete waste of $200. Sadly, this is the second pair of Wahl clippers in a row that hasn’t lasted me longer than four months. Never again. Wahl used to be the gold standard for professionals, but the quality just isn’t there anymore. Smdh.

I’ve seen recs for this clipper in my barber FB group so I decided to try them. They sound like a lawn mower. They are pretty loud, but the device can power through some hair bulk. The motor is fast and vigorous, and the clipper is lightweight. Fading potential is average and can be better maybe when this clipper and I are more well acquainted. (I should add that I’ve been a barber for 21 years). That being said, I’ve always used Wahl clippers(corded) but these may take getting used to. I’ve also recently purchased the Tpob play set, which I’m extremely happy with. The set is SO quiet, great for kids with sensory issues. The set is spectacular, fading with them hits every time, I even use them to clean up my WAHL fades if needed.

Good overall product. The motor is quieter than most cordless, but not as quiet as corded. A very powerful motor can pull through very thick hair. It really shines in the hand feel. It's light & kinda small and the rubber grip makes it very comfortable for all day use. I wish it had a stand for convenient recharging(the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars) for $200 seems like it should. I will say battery life is excellent, I haven’t run out yet, and I work long days. I do plug it in in between clients though. Fingers crossed it will last, I've had it for 3 months no issues. My cordless Andis Masters did even 3 months!
