Works even on a gritty texture
Bought this to help place a large shower pan. The pan is about 85lbs and has a gritty textured surface, I was surprised that one of these devices was able to hold it no problem. I attached 2 just to have multiple places to lift, both stayed attached and sturdy even on the textured surface. I would highly recommend this product.

Impressive well build rugged, metal handle rather than plastic
This is well built very sure it will hold up to years of use. I needed a side to pull from and the additional handle was a perfect fit. I haven't tested the load capacity, but initial tries very sure it will meet them. The three rib rim sticks quickly and the cup holds even after pressure release. I tried it on slightly curved glass and it worked as well, easily works on auto glass, windshields. It quickly pumped up only 4 or 5 needed. The rubber feels like it would work on uneven surfaces but haven't tired that. Quality product for the money

disapointing
Does not hold the vacuum well (even on glass) less than 30 sec if you can't position the piece that fast you better have an alternate way to hold the piece. Plus there is no visual cue when the cup will let go. Others that i have the pump button stays depressed when vacuum is achieved. This one never stays in.

Useless Junk
Don’t bother. I bought these to install 3 panes of glass that were broken in an earthquake. I affixed them to the first piece of glass but thankfully I didn’t trust them and I kept one hand on the glass and it’s a good thing I did because the suction cup in my other hand released within 30 seconds and the other one released right after that. Then I tried to reaffix them but they wouldn't stay stuck for longer than 30 seconds or so. I’m not sure why there are so many satisfactory reviews for this product but I have my suspicions. Unfortunately I didn’t get around to using them until a few days past the return period so they’ll be going to the landfill. Don’t buy these. They’re useless junk.
