I am looking to find a cable to adapt all the old computer modular power plug cables into extension cords.This cable is very well made, but not what I wanted.I have about 20 old computer type power cables that are in perfect condition, but I have no need for them. I thought is I could find a modular male connector to a male 3 prong connector it would make a great extension cord, but I am repeating myself.If anyone knows of an adapter please let me know!This cable is a dandy however of no use to me.

My extra monitor was far from my computer and didn't reach the power strip. This extender gave me the extra length to reach the power strip without relocating it. It is much thicker than the cord it is attached to, so it might give someone trouble if you intend to hide it.
