Good Meter
Works as it should. Able to test RV and Marine batteries which don't use CCA.

What a great little gadget!
Works great, you'll need this for returning Costco batteries. Make sure it tests bad before bringing it back.

Easy to use for a Do It Youself-er
I bought this not for reviews but only because it seemed as easy to use as others but was less costly. The battery was dead in my Ram Truck, so I ran which tests I could. The Battery is an (absorbed glass-mat (AGM) battery). I charged it with a standard battery son the slow charge. he battery struggled to start the truck so I used the "Start Engine feature". The truck started right up. My alternator read normal and the truck started three or four days in a row. I parked it and left it sit for about a week. Dead as a doornail again. I used the new tester to find the battery was at 456% and the amps were at 8. On with the slow charger. Everything reading good again., Then I followed the instructions and did a load test, which was everything electrical running for 3 minutes. Turned the truck off, used the tester and it said "go the the store and buy a new battery dummy. So off to the store I went after using the engine start on the battery and sure enough they ran their tests and said "buy a new battery dummy and so I did. I guess this works. I tried it a couple times and got the same reading. I also tested the battery on my car and it read every thing good, don't got running off to the store wasting you money on a new battery dummy it is in good condition. Thank you BT300 Battery Tester!

Very easy to use item that gives a reliable reading on the current state of a battery Yes it does test 24v charging too No it doesn’t test 24volt battery set up IE 2 batteries at once, batteries need to be tested one at a time. I’ve not tried it on 6v . Tests.. I went to a friends workshop and tested it on brand new batteries, mediocre batteries and knackered batteries, also knackered batteries that had been charged, I am amazed at how accurate this unit is. To use, enter the amp hour EG 120 AH the follow the instruction to perform the tests, it even tells you how old the battery is .. 100% is brand new, 45% is obviously old. I will add pictures later. The charge test seems a bit daft, rev the engine to 2000 RPM and switch the lights on for 3 seconds then back off, I understand why you do it but your just as well off with an Amp meter and volt meter for that. Battery testing though… it is extremely accurate. NB to properly test batteries you need them on trickle charge over 24 hours, leave them for 24 hours and then test them, it’s rare people ever do this but that is how you are supposed to test a battery properly.

Absolutely the best bang for your buck! Had some doubts buying this as it’s only 50$. But those doubts are out the window. Works fantastic, great quality, very easy to navigate. I’ve used Snap On AVR testers and I prefer this indefinitely.

Just received this less than 24 hours after ordering. I use alot of leisure batteries ( 4 or 5) to provide power for my remotely parked caravan, including a 12 volt fridge etc. I use a couple of solar panels to keep me topped up. The problem is, I never know what state of discharge they are in after extended use, and which battery is most in need of charging. This tester provides me with a fairly accurate reading. Also, an indication of the state of health of the battery. It works using CCA & also using AH ( quick check). Early days, but appears to be just what I've been looking for.

Quick and easy to setup, does a health check, load test, state of charge, alternator, and wave test. I Compared it against a voltmeter, it is very accurate regarding the state of charge and provides an excellent assessment of the battery condition. The functions are clearly marked with the following symbols, Quick, Standard, Start, Charge, Wave test, and setup. No batteries required, just connect to the vehicle negative and positive terminals.

Lost a star because it arrived with no plastic on the screen so it all scratched, seems like it was used. Seems accurate and works fine.
