After my axolotyl stopped eating worms (my supplier changed brands and something was different), I started checking out other options. He ate pellets when he was little, so I ordered some pellets and a bag of this food. He ate the pellets fine, but when I introduced him to this mix, it was unbelievable! He swims back and forth waiting on more. If your looking for a treat for your axolotyl, dont hesitate to buy this. Excellent product!

Great food if you don't have access to fresh worms. Stays fresh in the bag for a long time and lasts a while.

We have had our axolotls for a few months. First, we fed them only blood worms. We learned that blood worms alone are not a balanced diet for them. They really began to thrive since we started feeding them these pellets. Over feeding them is dangerous because they get gas and float and become very stressed out. We feed them just 2-3 times a week. We use a feeding dish and clean out the uneaten food after a few minutes to avoid ammonia spikes in the aquarium water.

She's been eating them every other day now for about a month & loves them. At first she was apprehensive about non-alive food but quickly adapted to them & likes to search them out. Had to subtract a star because she seems to get pretty bloated if I feed her more than about four in a day. I alternate with red wiggler worms & blood worms. All in all, I think they're a good buy!

I normally feed my axie nightcrawlers. I tried the pellets. Seek and destroy. It's cool to watch them, well, hunt. It's a good value for their diet. Still always keep to a live food if u want a happy water dog. But these are great because they can live on these as their main diet. But, think where they come from. Keep it real! A definite good buy. They love it!

This food comes packed in a sealed bag and is moist and fresh. My Axolotl love it.

My axolotl gets so excited whenever I feed him these. I like that the pellets are very soft so I do not have to worry about them getting stuck in his digestive system.
