Unbelievable IEMs for the price!
Purchased these to replace a pair of Truthear Pure that started having connectivity issues 2 months after purchase. Although the Pure were a little louder these IEMs are significantly more clear, detailed and overall a better listening experience. The biggest upgrade over the Pure is the comfort. These are by far the most comfortable headphones (IEM, over the ear and wireless) I have owned. The cable is quite a bit thinner than the Pure, but this is one of the things that adds to the comfort. The connector also appears to be much higher quality so hopefully it will hold up better than the Pure cable did. All in all these are a great well rounded pair of IEMs. Sure they don't have ear shattering bass or super bright highs, but the detail, separation and sound stage are all there providing a fun listening experience regardless of the genre of music or source content.

An excellent earphone at a reasonable price
The quality of these in-ear phone is really fantastic. They have to paired with a good DAC to give their best. I have tried them with my Hi-Fi system with a tubed 2 stage CD player, a BAT tubed preamp and a Musical Fidelity Xcan V3 tubed phone amp and they outperform my Sennheiser HD650. The bass is really solid, the mids are a little forward and warm but nor too much and the treble is very detailled yet not agressive. Overall they are beautiful, very comfortable and a joy to listen too. There is a lot of clarity, detail and instrument separation while being non overly detailled and analytical. Of course the tubed set-up is helping a lot, but that just shows how good the product is. But they work just as well with my phone and desktop. They are delivered with a little dongle and an entry cable. It is recommended to change the cable for an aftermarket one and buy a good portable DAC. The dongle is ok and works just fine if one is not looking for the best possible sound. All in all, well worth the price and can satisfy the demanding HiFi users just like a more casual listener.

Good introduction to audiophile IEMs
These are my first “higher end” in-ear monitors (IEM) and I love them! Ok, let’s get a few things out of the way. For a newbie to IEMs, there is a learning curve for how to use them properly. If you’re used to the intuitiveness of airpods or earbuds, it might be confusing at first. I initially put them in wrong (with the Meze logo pointing forwards - see picture), and was confused because the audio was terrible! No bass, no noise isolation, always falling out of my ears... just bad. But after some trial and error, and looking at pictures on the Meze website I corrected the error. Viva la difference! Super-comfy, beautiful isolation, and the sound quality finally came through. I also had to find the best-fitting tips (turns out I need different sizes for each ear), which helped with comfort for long-time wear. Now, to the really good: (1) they look fantastic (again, see pictures) and sound excellent. It’s a different type of sound than say, a pair of AirPods. Those sound warmer and “fuller”, but also more muddled; whereas the Albas have the more accurate representation. Especially if you listen to lossless audio, you can hear the difference. (2) They're very comfortable. They don't "disappear" like Airpods do during long-time use, but they are way better than most high-end IEMs or clampy headphones. With the correct eartips there should be zero discomfort. (3) The USBC dongle DAC is an excellent value add, and the carrying case is very nice. The not-so-great: (1) this is a “premium” product, meaning you have to treat them gently. The cables are premium and feel nice, but good luck going for a run or workout with them. (2) The 2-pin connector can sometimes get loose and make the Albas fall off when you’re putting them on or off. I tried to fix that with a dab of glue (see picture), which seems to work for now. All in all, they’re not a pair of IEMs you can treat roughly, like you would a cheap pair of wired earbuds. Overall, are they worth it? I think so, they’re a decent intro to the world of hi-fi IEMs. They don’t sound as good as the Sennheiser IE900 or the Sony IER-RZ1, but that’s because those cost 10-15x as much. The audiophile hobby can get super expensive and niche; and the Alba is great value for money for people just dipping their toe into it.

Amazing IEM's for everyday use
Meze Alba are amazing IEM's for the price they have amazing objective and subjective qualities. Imaging and Soundstage are really good, not the absolute best but they are really GOOD like 8.5-9/10 good in their price range, the frequency response however is a 10/10 it's just so smooth, it has a good amount of bass without the muddyness, the vocals are amazing. It doesn't sound V-shaped yet the bass and vocals are just so wonderful. The treble is PERFECT it's very clear and detailed without sounding overly bright. I can't stand overly bright treble so many flagships crank the treble up so high and call it "detail". Yes most detail is found in the midrange and highs but it gets to a point where it's "artificial treble" and these Alba's do it just right. Comfort is really nice make sure you use the right size eartips you Need a tight seal!!! Build quality is fantastic, aesthetics are amazing as well, 10/10 iem's.

Great IEMs
I love these IEMs. They are extremely comfortable and have a nice neutral sound with a decent soundstage. I mainly use them through a SoundBlasterX G6 connected to my PS5. Fallout 76 sounds so immersive, none of my other IEMs or headsets can compare. I'd love to give them 5 stars, but I've always had a problem with the left earbud. Apparently the two holes where the cable plug in are a little too large, so it loves to easily fall off. I've tried everything to fix it, but the only fix would be to use some strong glue to connect the cable. Then I couldn't switch to a 4.4mm balanced cable for use on my computer. Speaking of cable, like others have noted, the Meze cable is thin and way too easy to tangle, so you're always having to untangle it. I love the sound so much though, I'm going to get the Alba replaced through Amazon. I'll also buy a thicker modular cable so I never need to disconnect it to switch from 3.5mm to 4.4mm, I can just replace the end connector. And hopefully no more tangles.

Ottimo rapporto prezzo/prestazioni.

These are fantastic earphones, I haven't stopped listening to them since I got them. I usually use these with my Fiio BTR7, but the included adaptor they give you is just as fantastic!
