Great Kit for Medium to Advanced Metal Modelers
This is by far my favorite Metal Earth project. It is quite tedious and some of the parts are very fragile so I would not recommend this kit for a beginner. I did 20 kits before tackling this one and I still had some issues. Please be careful with the top-most orange piece on the main rocket. The back is not evenly segmented and I was not aware. I ended up breaking it because it folded on me. I should have checked the back first. I was able to mend it with super glue and it is hardly noticeable. Overall though, this is a very detailed model and it looks great. I highly recommend this kit for medium to advanced metal modelers. The key, take your time and bend carefully.

Not for beginners
I really like these model kits and I have a few already just a reminder if you are just starting these models you should try a different one this is pretty difficult and it's pretty durable and really fun

Great model with amazing detail!
Really enjoyed building this one! Getting the curves right is tough and joining the rounded sections is challenging, but I’m happy with the result.

Extremely difficult and fragile
I've done numerous Metal Earth models without issue. This is by far the most difficult one I've attempted. It took me over two and a half hours to get past the first page and the only thing I had to show for it was some poorly assembled boosters and a broken nose cone for the capsule escape system. I continued with the main fuselage after taking a break. Upon trying to connect the boosters to the fuselage, one of the connecting tabs broke off due to fatigue. The pieces are precut so that they're easier to bend, but unfortunately this also leads to some of the parts breaking because there isn't enough material holding them together. I called it quits and threw the whole thing in the trash. Definitely not for kids or beginners. Not even really well designed for someone who has a lot of experience. I do a lot of work with my hands and am generally careful with these types of things, but sometimes you just can't be careful enough, especially when it only takes one or two bends to break something.

Very difficult much more so than the ship models.
Buy two kits, you will need them. Very difficult to assemble in several places and several pieces that need forming are very small. The second kit will provide the spare parts needed when you destroy several of the parts from the first kit. The gentry goes together without too much difficulty it is the two rockets the install on either side of the main rocket that are difficult especially in the tail of the rocket. Too bad it would be a nice kit otherwise.

Fragile and poorly designed
Agree with Brandon’s review, which I didn’t see until after purchasing this. This is a poorly designed model. The parts meant for bending into shapes like the nose cone are fragile and easily break. Some of the tab connections in the instructions are next to impossible without deforming the parts (e.g. exhaust to the booster section). I’d never built any metal earth models prior, so inexperience might be a factor. I was just looking for a fun Artemis model. Should have just bought the lego one despite the ridiculous price since this one is likely headed for the trash. Hope the real Artemis isn’t plagued with as many issues…
