This is a great RC tank. Steering and speed are fully proportional so turning the controller slightly turns the tank slightly while a full turn spins it sharply. The tank speed works in the same manner and is proportional to the amount of throttle applied in forward or reverse. The motor is more than adequate with a lot of torque - this is a tank so it's not a speed demon but is plenty fast. The only issue I had is that I was sent the wrong color (ordered the tan version but received gray) but not worth the hassle to send back. Lights on the front and back are very nice and the battery lasts a while before needing a recharge. If it proves to be durable and lasts there is not much more you can ask for at this price point! A second battery is also included (the first is already installed in the tank).

I didn't know my son was a fan of RC toys until I had a christmas list with 5 options of tank models. I had to ask him questions to determine what it was he wanted exactly. He wanted an RC that looked like a tank and could handle our woody-type front yard. It flies over sticks and vines easily and the tracks stay on pretty well. He loves both historical and modern tanks and appreciates the great functionality of this model. For this price point I am pleased and so is he!

My son absolutely loves this tank! It came with two batteries which is great for an impatient kid that wants to play with his new toy constantly. It works great inside and outside and can spin in circles super fast! My 5 year old loves it!

Really cool, it's really quick turns great tracks will come off when debris collects under them. Don't like the pilots doors , so glued them closed.Mixed on battery life, sometimes charge lasted 20 minutes then only ten minutes on same area. Overall worth the price.

I been buying RC tanks and military vehicles for a few years now . This one is definitely one to get . Is is very well made and a very nice addition to my collection . I definitely recommend it 👌

Right when I saw the picture of this pop up while randomly searching RC tanks I thought it was fake just for the level of detail, plus the pictures almost look computer generated and not of the actual unit. I’m 37 and have been involved with hobby-grade remote controlled vehicles of all types, so I know the difference between that and toy-grade or the old Toys R Us type RC vehicles. This Ripsaw replica has awesome detail! It includes everything that is stated and is quick! Simple to control vs some other RC tanks that I’ve tried or currently own. The light bar works and has so many different light modes that I was honestly in awe at the effort put in this vehicle. For the price and shipping time this is just a great value and if you are a fan of the real life Ripsaw then you will love this thing. The ONLY con I’ve noticed (taking all other factors into consideration) is the suspension. It’s too stiff on the three centered road wheels, so they basically don’t function. Fortunately they can be taken apart and have softer springs added, which I did and now it looks so cool driving over things with the suspension in action! BUT even with that fixed the wheels, wheel arms, and ground clearance make this capable of quite a bit more suspension travel than these shocks provide (the travel is laughable on these crappy little things). To remedy this I got some 1/24 RC rock crawler shocks that have more travel and install them. Overall, of course it could be better, BUT not with the price in consideration. When considering the price this things is too good to be true honestly. I love it and want to buy the other color version as well.

Verbazend goed stuk 'tank' waar mijn 9-jarige zoon verzot op is. Rijdt zeer proportioneel en precies en ook zeer snel als je wil. Zeer mooi afgewerkte body, prima rubber tracks, geveerd, kortom alles wat je van zo'n product mag verwachten, maar dan aan een zeer zachte prijs. Zeer goed, zonder meer.

Bought this as a last-minute gift for my 8yr old son and it turned out to be cooler than I thought. The lights, the detail, the sprung bogies, the speed - all made it worth the price tag imo. The motor and battery does create some heat but that’s to be expected

Ich habe mir dieses RC Fahrzeug gekauft, weil mir das Aussehen gefallen hat. Es ist dem "RIPSAW EV3 F4" nachempfunden, einem Zivilen Kettenfahrzeug mit 800ps (Videos dazu findet man z.B. auf Youtube). Die Verarbeitungsqualität und die Details des Fahrzeugs ist hoch, allerdings sind einige filigrane Elemente, wie Stoßstange recht empfindlich und brechen sehr schnell). Die Fernbedienung wirkt dagegen recht Billig. An der Nahtstelle zwischen beiden Kunststoffschalen sind teilweise scharfe Kanten. Die 2 Folien-Taster für Power und Beleuchtung haben einen schlechtem Druckpunkt. Trotzdem liegt die Fernbedienung gut in der Hand, auch in den von Erwachsenen. Das Verbinden von Fahrzeug und Fernbedienung ist schnell erledigt und die Funkverbindung ist auch auf größerer Entfernung stabil. Das Handling ist Anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da das Fahrzeug bereits auf kleinste Lenkbewegung bei der Fahrt stark reagiert. Nach ein bisschen Eingewöhnung fährt man gekonnt durchs Wohnzimmer. Auf Untergrund mit viel Haftung (z.B. Teppiche), kann es dazu kommen, daß die Ketten bei Lenken auf der Stelle (ohne Fahrt) blockieren. Auch das Fahren im Freien (z.B. im Garten/Spielplatz/Wald) macht Spaß. Erst dort kann man die Geländefähigkeiten so richtig genießen. Mit einer angegebenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 8km/h ist es allerdings nicht so schnell. Rennen mit anderen Flitzern kann man damit keine gewinnen, allerdings sind anderen meistens auch weniger Geländefähig. Man sollte unbedingt vermeiden durch tiefere Pfützen zu fahren, da das Fahrzeug unten nicht Dicht ist. Zum einen ist dort der Power-Taster und zum anderen das Fach vom Akku, beides nicht abgedichtet. Etwas schade ist, das die 2 mitgelieferten Akkus mit jeweils 500mAh sehr knapp bemessenen sind. Je nach Fahrweise ist der Fahrspaß ziemlich schnell vorbei. Bereits nach 15-20 Min. nimmt die Geschwindigkeit deutlich ab und es dauert nicht lange, bis sich das Fahrzeug abschaltet. Dafür dauert das Laden mit rund 150mAh fast 3h. Da vergeht einem die Laune... Da ich Elektronik-Bastler bin, habe ich mir zwei 7,4v Akkupack aus jeweils 2x 3,7v 2000mAh Li-Po Akkus zusammengebastelt. Leider waren die etwas zu dick, so das ich den Boden des Akku-Fachs wegfräsen musste. Jetzt fährt das Fahrzeug aber über 1 Stunde und mit einer besseren USB-C 2A Lade-Modul lädt ein Akkupack auch in der gleichen Zeit wieder auf. So macht das ganze deutlich mehr Spaß. Allerdings sollte den Umbau nur Fachkundige Personen vornehmen, da unsachgemäße Behandlung von Li-Po Akkus gefährlich (Feuer/Explosion) sein kann (Ich übernehme keinerlei Haftung!). Fazit: Ein tolles RC Fahrzeug, welches auch Erwachsenen (wie mir) Spaß macht. Das Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, nur die Akkus könnten mehr Kapazität vertragen und der USB-Lader etwas mehr Ladeleistung. Meine Empfehlung!
