Mess less!!

I wish I had read through the reviews before purchasing. Chalk came in a flat vacuum sealed bag that was a mess to open, and the other pieces were just tossed inside with the chalk making them a mess to find.

First impression is that it is very odd. I bought this rock climbing chalk for my grandson who is just getting into the sport. The attached photo shows how it is packed. It seems quite hard and solid, and the spoon is embedded in the powder. Opening it and getting it into the chalk bag is going to be a very messy operation. I hope it will be usable.

Other brands offer 2 chalk balls with 2.3 oz each, while this brand offers 2 smaller chalk balls at 2.1 oz each but at a cheaper price. It seemed like a good deal, so I decided to give these chalk balls a try. I used them in my home gym, and what a nightmare… FALSE ADVERTISING : In the pictures, the chalk balls appear to be refillable with a cinch, but the product does not have a cinch and is therefore not refillable. TERRIBLE QUALITY: 1. The chalk sock quality is awful. The product arrived compressed, and when I tried to break up the chalk for better application, the sock tore, causing the chalk to leak everywhere and create a mess. 2. The compressed chalk makes it chunky inside the sock, making it hard to apply evenly to your hands. 3. The chalk itself is low quality. I had to keep reapplying it to keep my hands dry. If I stopped, my hands would get sweaty and caked with a chalk-sweat mixture. I do sweat, but not this excessively, and this problem doesn’t occur with other brands. Next time, to save myself troubles, I would rather spend a few more dollars for higher-quality, refillable chalk. I would avoid this chalk balls in the future...
