Bluetooth that Doesn't Raise Your BP Gettting it to Work Correctly
I have not received anything for this review and I was not contacted by this company to leave a review. I am a retired health care worker who needed a bp machine that will effortlessly transfer the test results to my cellphone. Accuracy and an easy cuff for one person to put on were my other two requirements. A different, very popular brand I will not name here, failed miserably at the Bluetooth connection almost every time, and then the air hose got a leak giving me the perfect excuse to replace it. This machine is giving me the same results as my last machine, but I have not taken this one to my MD office yet to compare results. The machine is very easy to use. I like that the base is upright and not flat on a table making it very easy to read and operate. The cuff is simple, and even though I have a spouse, I want to be able to do the BP without assistance. It was very easy. But the best part is the Bluetooth connection. Like all similar devices, you have to download a free app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. I will be talking about the Android App but I would assume the Apple App is just as good or better. The app seems busy at first because the company has lots of home devices (Think Google Home) and the BP machine is just one of those devices. The app let me go into the settings and close the "cards" that did not apply to me, and then the app looked clean. So once installed and paired to your cellphone Bluetooth, you can open the app up before you take your bp, and if you have the cuff on, you can actually hit a button on the app to start the blood pressure. But whether you start the bp with the app or push the button on the device, the results are instantly on the app. No pairing each time. No lost BP readings. It's just there, and you can see all of your readings, send them to your provider, and keep track of the results for yourself. I highly recommend this device if you want to send the bp test results to your cellphone for any reason.

Very Good Blood Pressure Machine
My doctor recommended I use a Blood Pressure monitor at home to keep track of my BP. So I checked out machines on Amazon again and chose this Etekcity because it has AC connection as well as batteries to run the machine. I had ordered a different brand of machine six months ago but it fizzled out within two months use. I like this machine because it's easy to apply the cuff, the machine can be bluetooth to my cell phone to its app and the app keeps record of each reading. That's a plus because now I don't have to set up a "excel" sheet to keep all of that information, it's on the app now. The display is very big and easy to read, I can operate the machine from the app on the phone, very easily. For the most part it's accurate, but I still test my BP twice each time, just to be sure it's accurate. So far so good. One more reason I like this machine, is that I already had the app because a few months ago I purchased a scale by the same brand - Etekcity - and all I had to do is add the machine to the app....so easy. I would recommend you add the app to they phone first and then set-up the machine. I would recommend this Etekcity Blood Pressure Monitor and I hope this review helps.

Accurate and Easy to Use
The Etekcity Blood Pressure Monitor is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use device. It provides accurate readings and has a simple, straightforward interface that makes monitoring your blood pressure quick and painless. The cuff fits comfortably and is adjustable, which is a plus for those with different arm sizes. The large digital display is easy to read, even from a distance, and it tracks both systolic and diastolic pressure, along with heart rate, giving a full overview of your health. The only downside is that the device can sometimes take a little longer to inflate than expected, but once it does, it provides consistent results. Overall, it’s a great product for keeping track of your blood pressure at home. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something reliable and easy to use.

Good product, and easy to keep a log to show your provider
My NP thought I had high blood pressure and ignored my explanations of having been on walks in the heat prior to my appointment. They insisted on writing me a script for lisinopril. On a normal day, I'm not just normal BP, but i'm low. Low to the point where my old doctors had me monitoring frequently to try and see if my low BP was the cause of some of my other health problems/symptoms. Well, I had given that monitor to my mother since she is actually on BP meds, and when I found myself needing to take a log again to prove that lisinopril could be dangerous for me given my naturally low BP, the other model I had is no longer sold on amazon. So after some product searching, I decided on this one. It worked perfectly, I love the smart aspect because with ADHD there's no way I'd be able to keep track of a blood pressure log on paper and know where it was when I needed to take it to the doctor. The only reason I gave it a 4 in accuracy is that no BP reader is as accurate as a manual reading by a provider that knows what they're doing. But I have no complaints with the product at all.
