The installation was as expected, it's not easy to hang one of those by yourself. I love the design and and I gave it a twist, which might give you ideas to do the same. What I did is two-fold: 1) I used one of those flame bulbs, also bought from Amazon (make sure you use the best model, the difference of how real the flame looks is significant) so it gives it a gas lamp feel. 2) I inverted the bulb socket. It was simple and I didn't have to drill or bend anything at all. I simply bought a basic socket for that bulb, mounted it on the bottom using the existing holes and a couple of screws, and then pulled the wire through (making it run in the back of the lamp) to connect it. One things to think about: is that it is not as bright as a regular bulb. I'll probably ad a couple of sconces. I love it. Excellent and simple design.

Very stylish to match entry lights

Matches with family of lighting fixtures I used around the home and was a stylish update to my existing front porch recessed lighting (I used a recessed light inverter). The bulb is bright enough to light my front porch area nicely. My only wish is that this had the day/night sensor feature the other fixtures in the family have for which I removed one star.

Put up in less than 5 minutes!! Neighbors love it!! Sheer class!!! Could be a little bigger like 4 inches longer and 4 wider!! But the design is beautiful 2months later…. Seems the bulbs burn out in 2-3 weeks…extremely hard to figure out how to change bulbs… called Amazon they gave me number of company n email address… after many no returned calls or emails n no response I had my handiman come take it down and found 2 tiny screws to replace bulb…but still the bulbs last only 2-weeks n few days… going to get different bulb and give it one more shot! I still love the design of lamp and haven’t found one I like better … but still upset that I have received no response from company.. I will be letting Amazon know… I believe company is in China!!

Really nice looking hanging from front outside porch. Chain links are adjustable, led light is bright! Great purchase for the cost.
