Small But Effective
I love this little monitor! The price is appropriate for its function. It is simple, but effective. The fact that it’s audio only would seem to be a hindrance, but you can hear so clearly! The units are small and must be plugged in. There is no requirement for batteries, you just plug them in. As long as the units are plugged in, you will never lose power. I like that the parent unit and baby unit are both small and compact. In my mind, this makes it durable and able to be transported. The neutral color (white) gives the monitors a sleek look and feel. I would definitely recommend this product to parents and grandparents or anyone who cares for infants. Video: We play white noise for the baby while she sleeps. We can still hear her so clearly when she wakes up!

Affordable and reliable
This has been an affordable solution to listening in on the nursery. It’s easy to setup and holds a charge.

Motorola baby monitors
Yes, a small unit but it works fantastic. It’s about the size of a flip phone, pretty cool.

Simple, and it works.
I use it to monitor our Border Collie when she is in her crate. Dependable, no frills, audio only. Low price. Exactly what I needed.

Good
We use this for our teenage son who has special needs. The sound quality is vey good. We were surprised because the speakers are so small.

Not battery operated (long term)
Not really sure who designed this thing, but it has none of the features you’d want in a baby monitor other than it is small and allegedly not using a plain broadcast signal. Having to always have the base plugged in and the receiver only using batteries as a temporary power source when moving it from one plug to the next is not realistic when it comes to the purpose of a baby monitor. That said, it is a good quality device assuming you’re looking to always have it plugged in.

Good, not great, for monitoring a detached garage.
Wish the volume could be louder. My parents use it as a monitor for their garage and it's not as loud as the 1980s Radio Shack unit they had for years until they finally bit the dust. Can hear birds chirping. Still, a nice unit they can also take into the bedroom at night since you can add batteries and make it portable.

Unreliable
I didn’t realize that the parent unit always has to be plugged in, which means you can’t take it around the yard while your child is napping inside. We also had issues with it constantly disconnecting and turning off. Ended up returning for a refund.
