Works well enough but difficult to clean
I got this because my apartment room has a West facing window and the AC doesn't keep up well enough. This helps offset some of the heat, but after about a month it doesn't turn off the mister part when the water is the empty, which probably will burn it out quicker. It does cool the air pretty well with the ice packs included, but I find one ice pack + ice is better because you get more water in, and therefore more run time. I have it blowing into the windstream of my actual upright fan to help circulate the cooler air. The fan itself isn't very powerful on its own. This is also pretty annoying to clean. Dust settles on the fan blade and you need to remove the backing with a screwdriver to get in there and clean it off. TLDR, works ok, but I would explore other options

Perfect for its size and the price!
It works perfectly for my desk, and it will be a nice little air conditioner this summer outside! It’s quiet, and actually more powerful than I anticipated.
