Was very pleased with this The taste was very nice, indeed. It provided me with some assistance in getting a good night's sleep. The quality seemed very good and it's tasted lovely.

Needed to cut back on drinking coffee for health reasons so was looking at alternatives. Tea is nice but wanted something else as an option too. Having heard about the health benefits of natural Cacao I was looking for a unprocessed natural version. The problem with high street Cacao from your supermarket is it comes with sugar and sometimes additives and I wanted something natural and healthier. I tried this and almost immediately got addicted to it. At first it was a little bitter but I got to really like the taste and now I drink this regularly when I would've been drinking coffee. It's fantastic with a piece of 90% or more dark chocolate. Mind you if you don't like strong bitter chocolate or drinks which are bitter rather than sweetened to death then this may not be for you. For me it's perfect and economical too. A 500g bag lasts me 4 to 6 months. For reference, when I'm making a cup, I just add powder to taste and dilute it in hot water stirring well. I don't use milk or anything else. Wish I'd know about it when I was working in offices as it's so convenient.

I’m new to using cacao powder and so am definitely no expert however I am very happy with the price and quality of this product taste wise. I used it this morning making some chocolate based on coconut oil. The recipe was 100g of oil. 50g of cacao powder and 1 tsp of vanilla powder (although I used ½ tsp) and it was/is delicious* Having made that recipe before another cacao powder i.e. the only time I have used it before this one is much nicer. The taste is really smooth and delicious. From the packet information the cacao contains potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. It also states its Raw certified Organic Peruvian. Also very important for me is the expiry on these products when I don’t use a lot all the time. This one is a good 18 months so great. Very pleased it’s a good flavour and a good price. * That recipe can be adapted by adding other flavours like orange etc.

Indigo Herbs Organic Cacao Powder is fantastic! It's been a staple in my house for a number of years now. It has a rich, intense flavour that really enhances smoothies, baking, and is great for hot chocolate. It’s good quality and really versatile, making it a great staple. I only wish that it was fair-trade, traceable and organic and it would be perfect. If you’re after a pure, unrefined, raw cacao powder that delivers on taste, this one from Indigo Herbs is a winner. Highly recommended!

I buy quite a few things from indigo herbs directly, however I needed this rather quickly so ordered from Amazon prime with next day delivery. Well, Amazon sent the wrong thing so I had to re-order and return the wrong items, but eventually it turne up. The thing I love about Indigo Herbs is that they spend a lot of time researching and sourcing to ensure they offer the very best, sourced as ethically as possible. The pack is a whopping 1kg, which might seem too much when you usually get 100 - 200g in the supermarket, but unlike those cocoas, there are no fillers, no gluten, no nuts, no nasties, and the resealable pouch it comes in keeps it fresh for absolutely ages. The flavour is strong and warming, ideal for cocoa or cakes. Fantastic for making raw bars ( with dates and nuts) I use mine for cocoa, cakes and this time making energy bars ( gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, no refined sugars) sounds awful but came out really really well. I highly recommend indigo herb products either direct or through amazon.

I’ve ordered this several times before and I wouldn’t buy elsewhere now, otherwise I would absolutely NOT have left a review. How is someone supposed to give regular honest feedback on items that haven’t even been here for 24 hours 🤷‍♀️
