Tastes good
Tastes good. Perhaps not as sweet as Sweet and Low. Not necessarily a bad thing. Time will tell on the benefits.

Great Product for the Ketogenic User!!!
This sweetener is perfect for anyone on a Ketogenic/low-carb diet. Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener has a Glycemic Index (GI) of zero. Keep in mind there is a very small amount of monkfruit in this product. That is both fine and to be expected. Monkfruit has a sweetness level that is 300 times that of table sugar. In order to make this product a one-for-one equivalent to table sugar, the monkfruit is cut with a large amount of Erythritol. Some facts on Erythritol for the Ketogenic/low-carb dieter: - Erythritol is a sugar alcohol. - Erythritol has a true GI of zero, so it should not cause any insulin production in the user. - Erythritol is considered to have very mild side-effects compared to almost all other artificial sweeteners and sugar alcohols. Personally, I have never noticed any side effects from using it, but results will vary from person to person. One thing that was absolutely important to me, as a pre-diabetic and avowed Ketogenic supporter, was that there would be no GI for any sweetener I use. There are many products that use other artificial sweeteners that have questionable or debatable GI levels. Erythritol is widely considered to have absolutely none. The individual packets in this bag give you much less value than the bulk packaging from the same company. So if you plan to use this for baking or other bulk needs, go with the other product by the same brand. However, I bought this to use in my morning coffee at work, so the individual serving sizes were much more convenient. The reason I only gave four stars was that I felt the sweetness level of this product is not as sweet as table sugar. I could be wrong, and I will not do a comparison. Perhaps I will ask my wife to test this for me. If I do, I will update this review.

Best swertner!
I decided to wait a few months before writing a review about his sweetner. I started to follow a Keto diet and had to cut sugar from my diet completely. Giving up sugar was bad, but when it affected my coffee and tea, that’s when things got ugly. I tried different stevias, and other sweeteners, but the aftertaste was horrible, and I ended up breaking my diet to have my coffee in the morning, until I found some reviews about this sweetner on line. I got a small package, just to try, and the first time was not good. Was not sweet enough and I was still missing the flavor. A few weeks after that first test, I was more used not to have sugar on my diet: o fruits, carbs, sodas, juices or anything that has sugar, including tomato sauce. And I decided to try again, this time I tried all the other sweeteners as well, and lastly the monkfruit, this time was good. My taste was so overloaded with the amount of sugar I was ingesting, that the first time I tried, tasted horrible, but this time, the same amount, was too much! I tried again the next day with less, and the next one with even less and now I can have a huge cup of tea with only one bag, or a full cup of coffee with one little bag! It got to a point that even if I have some heavy cream around, I don’t even need sweetner anymore! So for the people saying that it does not work, train your paladar little by little. You did not get addicted to sugar overnight, and won’t quit overnight ether. This is a staple in my pantry and at work, and I got other 2 people to try already!

I love this natural sugar free option!! I use it for everything. Half of the sugar that's called for in a recipe. And it does taste very natural, no after taste fake sweetener taste. People don't even realize it when I bake!!
