My dog was bringing chiggers into our house every day from our own backyard for months, despite our best efforts to control them. (Good news, we did finally kill them.) This stick was a life saver because I literally had hundreds of bites over time. I lost count after 200. Chigger bites are the itchiest, most intense bites I’ve felt in my entire life. So trust me when I say I tried everything. When I used this stick on a fresh bite, it burned / tingled in a way that felt amazing and took the itch away quickly. Combined with hydrocortisone cream or chiggerx cream right after, I wouldn’t have to think about that bite again. The stick stopped the bites from getting worse and itching relentlessly. From what I understand, the heat destroys whatever makes you so itchy. On bites that I didn’t use the stick, I noticed a huge difference. I haven’t even needed to charge this stick. It’s small and battery life is great. Easy to take with you if you were traveling. It looks like a vape, so keep that in mind. It has two heat settings. I always use high because I love the feeling, but you can use low if it’s too strong. One last note, I would use the stick multiple times on the same bite. Use with caution because you don’t want to actually burn yourself. But I usually did it 3-4 times until I felt that good burny tingly feeling stop. That was an indication to me that I killed off everything in the bite, but I don’t know if that actually means anything. Don’t go overboard with it. But yeah, I love this thing. I use it to stop itching any bug bite and it’s amazing.

Just wish I had found this product years ago. Mosquitoes come from miles around to bite me and torment me with a terrible itching. I can be standing with friends and no one is getting bitten but me. So if you or the person that mosquitoes love to bite, this is the product for you. The itch healer works great and I love the four different temperatures I can choose From. As a Wimpy person, I was worried I wouldn't be able to tolerate the devices that produce high heat to counteract The cells in my skin from the etching. So this is what attracted me too this device and it performs perfectly. I started out on Temperature 1 and actually did make it all the way to temperature 4. Just one treatment, and the itch was gone! The treatment last about 30 seconds and if I forget to turn it off, it automatically shuts down after 60 seconds. Thank goodness, it has a short duration and different temperatures because my niece can only stand still when she's been bitten by a ferocious mosquito for about 30 seconds, I guess she got my blood type and mosquitoes love her too. So I normally get the one from a German company. It works awesome. But shipping is slow. And I needed one of these quick. So I got this one. It vibrates, not sure that it helps. The buttons are a little confusing. And it's on for a while. I have to zap the bite several times. It works but there are better ones.

The heat side is super hot I don't know if you should put that on a kid. I don't know if it worked I used it a couple days after being bitten

I spend a lot of time outdoors and the bugs love me. Every time I walk my dog, I get bitten by 5 more mosquitoes. I wake up at night scratching my skin until it bleeds and when we went on vacation with the family in June, my mother thought I had poison ivy because I had so many bites, especially on my ankles. I had ordered another gadget that was like a small USB stick and required an app to use and now I can't even find it, so I ordered this without much hope. But wow, it really works. I usually don't see anything come out when I use the vacuum end, although a few times blood came out. But the heat part definitely does something. When you hold it over a bite, it produces a deep burn/tingling, but it's barely felt where there's no bite, so I think the pain is a reaction from the heat and the poison. It rarely hurts so much that it's hard to keep it there for the couple of seconds, but some areas are more sensitive than others. Sometimes it feels good, satisfying in a way. And then usually that's it, no unsightly welts, no itching for days, no scabs. I would be miserable without this device, it honestly saved me !

Works great. My two kids and I are extremely sensitive to bug bites—esp mosquitoes. Swells up and itches for days. We’ve tried everything to help: creams, natural solutions, essential oils, ice packs, anti-histamines. temporary relief but our skin is so reactive. I asked my allergy doctor if something like this might work or if it was a scam. He said he thought it actually would help and it’s worth a try, so I got it. Literally true! The heat is a quick little sting and if the bite is already swollen it gives immediate relief. then we put the hydrocortizone or benadryl cream on. Lots of the time that prevents the endless itching for days. Sometimes I’ve already itched the bite and then it sends more stubborn. I just bake it again the next day and it helps so much with inflammation. Definitely promotes healing. been using it from June through September and haven’t had to re-charge yet so great battery life. Only negative is I wish it came in a better-designed carrying case. even in the box it comes in, you can hear the buttons being pushed if you are carrying it in a purse or backpack. But get it!!! you will be glad!! We live in Minnesota (unofficial state bird is the mosquito) so we’re bug bite experts! :)

This heat treatment works! Completely non-invasive, easy to use with 4 heat levels for tender skin. I got one to try it. It worked immediately, so I shared it with the family. It worked for them. (See the anecdote below* for more on this.) I also like the vibration, though I don't know if it really helps. I think it may divert your attention from the heat. I got three more, so I have one in the car, one at home and two for the daughter's family. It's pretty sleek and white, not very big, so I misplaced my home one. Ordered two more and gave one to a friend. Found mine, btw. Now I keep both in colorful glasses cases! It's okay if a bite itch is not totally gone on the first try. Do it again! I had to do one 3 times in an afternoon, but I am okay with that. No more antihistamine lotions! And I am really sensitive to bug bites so I'm loving this. The only cons for me: Not great instructions. And the company needs a better name for it. Dumbi just doesn't work well in English. If they don't change it, they should add to it, like Dumbi Heat Wand. *Anecdote: Three of us ran an errand that took us to a rural house by a wooded area for about 15 minutes. After we were back in the car we had 19 bites among us. I passed around the Dumbi and after a few miles, all gone or almost gone. A couple of repeats and no more! Yay!
