worked great for national park where traditional sunscreen is not allowed
In a national park preserve where some traditional sunscreens are not allowed, this one is allowed as it is "reef safe" without anything other than zinc/titanium dioxide as the active ingredients. Worked fine, rubs in well and doesn't make you look white as a ghost.

Excellent results!
I was in Thailand for almost 1 month and used this during the hot summer season and I never burned! It does go on very white but that’s a small concession knowing it is not a toxic sunscreen!

Leaves a bit of a white film
It leaves a bit of a white cast, but is still the best zinc sunscreen I've tried, aside from my expensive facial sunscreen. I wore it all week in Florida in June, was in the water much of the day, and it kept me from burning. It goes on easily, it a bit difficult to rub in so you can't see it, but even after you think it's rubbed in you can see a bit of a white residue. My skin is a bit sensitive, especially to sunscreen lately, but this didn't give me a rash or any irritation.

Great natural product
I use this product for surfing and most of the natural sunscreens end up burning my eyes. This one does not run or rub off. After trying a bunch of other brands this has been my go to for the last couple of years.

Good Mineral Sunscreen
Yes, it leaves a white cast, but it isn’t as thick and sticky as most out there. Very few ingredients makes me happy. I’ve tried mineral sunscreens with all zinc and they feel smothering, and like velvet everything sticks to the face. This one, with smaller amounts of zinc and titanium is better. It will pill if you use too much and rub too vigorously.

Very different from normal sunscreen.
I would not use if it was OK to use normal sunscreen. It was very effective in preventing sunburn. It was very runny and hard to cleanup. I was glad that I was doing right by the coral by using this product.

Healthy Sunscreen
Really great sunscreen without the harmful chemicals. Takes a bit longer to rub in since it sits on top of your skin vs. getting absorbed.

Now an entirely different product
If you're here because you used and liked "Banana Boat Simply Protect Sport", don't be fooled by the "new look and new formula" marketing implying that this new version called "Banana Boat Sport" is basically the same product. It's totally different. The new "version" is much harder to apply, enough so that I'm honestly surprised that my arm hair didn't get ripped out by the extremely vigorous rubbing it took to apply this product. It's much harder to spread even on hairless parts of the body. This also means that you'll be using a lot more of the new version of this product for a single application than you needed of the old version. Once the product has been on for a bit and you've gotten sweaty or wet, you'll find that all the creases on your skin are now filled white from the sunscreen. The smell is very different from the previous version of the product, and to me it's a much more unpleasant smell. The smell sticks with me all day, even after thoroughly showering. (I seem to be more sensitive to product smells than most people, so this might not be a problem for you.) I quite liked the old version of this product, but I won't be purchasing this new version again.
