I used this corn tea for my kidneys, and it works. I received nothing but good reports. This tea does not have a good texture, but it has awesome benefits. This tea is for you, if your doctor ever tell you that there is a problem with your kidneys. I drank a cup a day, in the morning before I ate anything.

Cornsilk is golden-brown to brown in color. I didn't find any dirt or foreign objects in amongst the strands. Comes in a heat-sealed bag so I needed a clip to close it up again. I think I like the flavor of this tea, but it's very hard for me to taste it. It has so little flavor that I could easily think that I were drinking plain water instead of cornsilk tea. If I search hard enough for it, there's a slight sweetness to it. I was going off of directions I found online to use boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. There aren't directions on the packaging so I don't know if that's what the manufacturer would recommend or not. Cornsilk tea has been used for a long time as an herbal remedy. There are so many conditions that it is recommended for that it would be an absolute miracle if they all worked. I'm not quite sure what it actually does, but I can't see how it would be harmful either so I'll drink it and hopefully it does something good.

When I opened the bag it kind of smelled like dried fields in the summer which made me feel like I was about to drink something that came straight from a farm. I brewed a cup and the color turned out to be this light golden shade almost like liquid sunshine which made me feel weirdly optimistic even before tasting it. The flavor was really mild kind of earthy with a slight sweetness that didn’t feel like it was trying too hard which I actually appreciated because sometimes herbal teas can get too strong. I didn’t add anything to it just wanted to taste it plain and it felt like I was drinking something that had been made the same way for generations. After drinking it I noticed that I just felt kind of relaxed but not in a sleepy way more like my body decided to just take it easy for a bit which was nice after a long day. I’ve started drinking it before bed when I just want to unwind without having something heavy on my stomach.
