Q: Can this mix with acrylic colors? Regular oil paints?

Water mixable oil paints can NOT mix with acrylic colors, but they CAN mix with other oil paints. If the amount of water soluble paint in the mixture is 75% or more then you can still use water (or water soluble linseed oil) to cut and clean the paint. If the paint mixture contains more than 25% traditional oil paint, then you need to use regular linseed oil or turpentine.

Q: will these paints adap to wet on wet style

Yes. I have used them for wet on wet painting. It's just the clean up that's different in these paints. I love them.

Q: Are these paints from China or European manufactory?

The label on the tube says "Made in France Fabrique en France"

Q: Can you use this with oil varnish to apply to wood. I'm making a violin and I need an oil based color.

Hi AmyYou can use this with oil varnish, however for your project I would advise using a oil paint, rather than a water-mixable oil paint.Kind regardsTegan
