This camera is as good as the FitCam for RAV4, for alot less money. Installation is easy and camera resolution is good.

I did purchase this product, it was not provided as part of free review. Overall, I am pleased with the results. The installation was easy once you figured it out, because like a lot of products not made in the States, the instructions leave a lot to be desired, as they cover an array of products that are unrelated to this one. The video is helpful, though it skips some steps. I am somewhat handy with most stuff, not so much with automotive issues. When you begin installation you have to remove the horseshoe shaped piece that slips over the mirror. There are two very small tabs on the side of the clips that have to be pushed in to release. Maybe intuitive to some, not so much to me. Once you do that, the rest of the installation is simple…just follow the video. Follow the instructions to download the app. I have an android, so it may be different for an iPhone, but I had some difficulty connecting the phone to the camera. I had to turn off Android Auto, and it still said that the camera was not connected to Wi-Fi, but it was and I could view the videos. A couple of observations: It comes with a cable to connect to the car’s power supply if you want it to record when parked. I didn’t do that, so the car has to on to connected to the camera. The led indicator lights are very small, so I didn’t think they were on until I pulled into the garage where I could see them in the dark. The camera records automatically when the car is turned on, and acts in a continuous loop, overwriting as necessary. The good news is that the addition of the wiring plug for the camera does not interfere with any of the car features like adaptive cruise control, etc.

Works great! Never have to worry about it recording.

This is by FAR the easiest installation. Images are clear. The unit comes with hard wiring capability or just plug into the existing front camera. I did not rate 5 stars because of the software. There are no options for sounds. I would like to hear a shuttle sound to know the unit is working. Also I had removed the SD card and forgot to reinstall it and the camera did not warn me like my other cams will do. Also there are occasional connectivity issues. For the ease of installation and image quality it is a good price.

Good fit, nice quality, convenient features: This product fits in perfectly - the custom nature of the product provides a very sleek look to the device that has an obvious advantage over other non-customized dash cams in that it doesn't take up extra space in the windshield and doesn't leave a bunch of wires dangling from the camera. The clean look of the camera does come with some drawbacks though - installing the unit is a bit more involved when compared to generic dash cams, but the wiring isn't overly complicated and the extra step takes just a couple extra minutes to install. The video quality of this camera is very sharp and more than adequate for my needs. Plus, the wifi-enabled video sharing is a very simple way to review footage without relying on an SD card that you need to physically remove and upload into a computer before viewing. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

This dash cam is very nice. Custom fit for Toyota RAV4 with vent hole, this dash cam will look like OEM built into the rear-view mirror housing, so not hanging off the windshield with power wire going around. Much cleaner look for sure. Love the built-in Wifi and app so can download videos to the smart phones easily. 4K resolution is excellent. Also have all the usual dash cam functions such as loop and shock detection. Includes a 238 GB memory card so many hours of recording can be stored. This does take some effort to install, but that's to be expected. Just follow the instruction. There is also an video instruction right in this listing too. Price is higher than the cheap dash cam of course, but this is custom made and clean looking so well worth the price.
