My first time making macarons I used gel based food coloring (after researching how to make them) and I think they turned out really pretty. The gel is super concentrated and the mint color I got was from using only 1 drop of aqua. I love the large selection of colors this brand offers. The purple color is more of a pastel violet not a rich purple, still very pretty.

We used this food coloring in royal icing to make some Halloween cookies- the colors were so bright and true, and we only needed a couple of drops! I was not a fan of the "Christmas Green" and "Christmas Red" colors we used later (not pictured) so recommend the regular green and red- more true to color.

Most colors were beautiful but the red never really turned red. No matter how much color we added it still was not a true red.

Wow! These colors are fantastic! Very vibrant and true to the package swatches. The bottles are very small but a little goes a long way. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Very nice variety of colors. Rather small bottles. Reasonable price.
