This olive oil was harvested over a year ago. Therefore it is not as potent as it would be if I purchased directly from the company itself. It’s probably been sitting on Amazon’s shelves for almost that entire year. Although it’s an older bottle, I can taste a mild burn or tingling from the olive oil. It’s very mild. This olive oil is very palatable and easy to take. However, I recommend getting directly from the source instead of Amazon if you can. Also, expect to have multiple bowel movements several hours after taking a tablespoon. Although it’s over a year old, it still seems to do what it’s supposed to do health wise.

I’ve been buying medical grade high polyphenol olive oil for years and my usual supplier does not have it anymore. I did lots of research online being sure to review the ingredients quality standards and specific composition and this olive oil has exceeded my expectations. It’s got the peppery bite, tastes great, comes in a beautiful bottle that is great if you add a pour spout to prevent spills. It comes with a convenient shot glass with markers for dosage and information cards in the box explaining dosages and use. The price is comparable if not lower than other brands in the same class of quality. Highly recommend this. I use it daily for chronic inflammation and for dry skin and hair.

The bottle isn't labeled with a date. Instead there's a slip that says it's from the October 2023 harvest. Let that sink in. Most oils are rancid within 12 months For high phenols, the recommendation is to consume it right after harvest and within the year. The oil that was shipped to me is 2+ years old. I promptly asked for a refund. Too bad. I really wanted for this product to be fresh and high quality.
