Great product, packed responsibly
Super quick delivery, and Metaxa is a fantastic drink! I was buying this for my dad's birthday and he loved it, packaged and padded to avoid any breakage, and arrived as described. If you want to sample greek spirits this is a great place to start, although typically (apparently) served at funerals!

Great tasting Greek Brandy.
This is a cheaper version of the 12 star Greek Metaxa but equally as nice. I tend to drink this one with some ginger ale, but also lovely on its own too. Bought this whilst on offer, have not been able to find this brandy in any supermarkets, so always a bonus to order this from Amazon.

A taste of Greece - sold at a great price; so good I bought a bottle for each of the Greece goers in my family. My perfect our: 2 finger measure of this amber nectar; diet pepsi / Cherry pepsi / even cheery tango will provide you with a gorgeous 'holiday memory provoking' drink. Delicious! Perhaps a little too 'drinkable' as my Auntie nearly finished the full bottle in an afternoon..

I’ve been enjoying Metaxa 5 Stars for years, and it never disappoints. It has a light, smooth taste with a very pleasant aftertaste that lingers just right. A truly delightful drink — elegant, balanced, and always a pleasure to share.

Nothing special about this, I will say the raisins are very noticeable in the taste though. So if you like raisins, you'll love this.

Wir nutzten den Metaxa für unser Einstiegsgericht in die griechische Küche. Hat es gut geschmeckt? Ja. Ich schätze damit ist der Nutzen für uns als Nichttrinker erfüllt. Einziges Manko an der Geschichte ist, dass man zum Kochen bei weitem nicht so viel Brandwein benötigt. Wer jedoch gerne mal die Gläser, auch über den Durst hinaus, hebt ist mit diesem Angebot wohl bestens bedient.
