I had to use my imagination to figure out installing the valve as the instructions weren't really there for that. The best way I found was to first understand that the o-ring and nut stay on the outside with the o-ring against the cooler. Just thread the valve all the way in, back it out just enough to position the handle and then tighten the nut down against the o-ring snugly. I did use a pair of pliers on the nut, but didn't try to over tighten it. So far no leaks at all. I intended to up end a 5-gal water bottle into the opening but there really wasn't enough clearance above where we placed the fusti for that. So we just empty the 5-gal water bottle into the fusti and use the lid. That has worked out well and not all that difficult to do, even in my 70's. Just remember you'll have to loosen or remove the plug in the lid when you are dispensing water to allow air in and all will be well. Water picks up no flavors from the stainless steel tank, nor should it. Before buying this fusti we were using a battery operated pump in the neck of our 5-gal water bottles. It worked ok, but as time passed I was concerned about long term cleanliness of the dip tube and pump mechanism. Since cleaning the fusti is a simple matter of washing it out with dishwashing liquid from time to time we are a lot less concerned about that issue now.

I opted for the "used" from Amazon version. It was packed like new, but was slightly dented upon receipt, lid was screwed on so tight it took two people ten minutes to get it off. Otherwise, super cool. Looks really nice. Heavy when full. It holds about 6 gallons, so about 50#. Update: after using for a few months, it's working out really well. Looks great, sturdy and functional.

The water resulting from my home distiller is very hot, so I needed something besides plastic to pour it in. This stainless steel container was perfect since it keeps my water pure, and has a large opening to pour water into it. The cap, handles and (replaceable) spigot are all heavy duty which makes it perfect for trips and camping. I expect this container to last for at least my lifetime.

Didn't leak where others had stated. Finish is nice, but could be better. Was a very small dent in the side. I wasn't to bothered by it. I wish the nickle content was lower. Very expensive for what it is, was expecting better for the price.

I recently bought 2 25L Fusti's and one of them worked great, but the other came with a spigot that was mis-threaded and we were unable to use it. I am trying to find out where to get a replacement spigot or replacement Fusti. Any info on who to contact would be great. Thanks!
