This is a fantastic dupe. I've had it for over a year now and it's still holding up well. I added in a govee lamp for the ability to change colors and I'm absolutely in love.

Looks amazing

It's a cute lamp, but when I assembled mine, I found that the lamp only stayed on if the switch was manually held down. After doing some research, it seems like they sent the lamp with a cheap, defective part. I chatted with customer service, which was extremely slow, and they said they'd send a replacement switch. We'll see how that goes. Skeptical that it's worth the hassle; I regret not opting to pay more for a higher-quality product.

Love this so much! Got my own seperate colored lightbulb from home depot and it makes this product so much cooler. Comes with a regular bulb tho.. Just be careful with the paper portion of the lamp it can be fragile but overall love this so much !

Honestly, wasn't sure what I would think of this paper lamp and I was worried whether or not it would give enough light for my living space. A lot of my concern was if my kitty might tip it over when playing. This is more than a light, it's home decor. I find the light it gives off is most suitable for my bedroom. It creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I can read my book and see to do whatever I need to. To me, the lamp just seems best suited mostly for smaller spaces. It wasn't enough light for my living room. This lamp was a 'little' confusing to assemble until I realized that a fair amount of the metal is meant to be seen above the paper. I had to read the instructions a few times. Once assembled, I see it as very worth it. Overall, I almost feel transported to Japan. I got some yellow bedding, and between the two, the room has quite a Zen type of feeling. And, so far, my cat hasn't knocked it over. She really seems to understand that it's a little precarious, being on a thin metal pole tripod as it is.. Also, I keep it in the corner so it would only have one way to fall. Only one time has it fallen over, and it's because I was unkoowingly tugging on the cord. So, not even kitty was the culprit. :) Five stars. Highly recommend for anyone into Japanese culture.

The lamp is too short and the cords show too much making it look very messy.

I did not think this would be very bright. It's more of an accent piece, by nature, but placed between my two sofas, it's actually a great source of light. Pros: - Packaged well and efficiently - EASY to put together (after taking a step back and thinking about the pieces.) They include everything you need for assembly: the tools are a tiny flat head screwdriver and small wrench. - Looks just as good in person as the photos! - The shade is beautiful; it's design provides a very fun, interesting, unique, well-balanced light! - Provides 360 degrees of lighting in a non-obtrusive presentation. Cons: - Cable is shorter than my needs; I had to use an extension cord. - Tripod legs seem a bit too close together; make sure not to bump into it or it will topple over easily. Overall still a 5 star lamp shade! Happy to recommend! Highly recommend this for anyone searching for lighting like this; no need to search for others. I'm thinking about getting a couple more variations of this Japanese style (like the ones pictured on their ad.)
