Works EXACTLY as expected and advertised! I have a bar stool countertop i use to hang the stockings in our new house that we just moved into, in lieu of a fireplace mantle, so I needed something quick & easy. I did not want to hang any hooks and all the weighted stocking holders were too expensive for a last minute purchase. These work perfectly for my needs. If u just hang an empty stocking on them, they don't seem like they're going to work, because they are made to hold more weight...the more u put in the stocking, the better they hold because it creates a weighted pull on them. The top triangle piece is a soft plastic so it will not damage the surface. It says they are suitable for up to 10lbs, i filled a stocking with a 7in tablet w/ case, 2 full bottles of shampoo, pack of crayons & it held just fine. It created the needed pull to keeo these holders firm & steady. If it's just empty stockings, they may move a little & not seem great but trust they will work just fine once u fill the stockings up! They're clear so they will work for any home & arent distracting. For a couple $ a piece, they are well worth it!

I have 6 Christmas stockings, two for me and my husband and four for the dogs and cats. I don't have anywhere in my home that makes hanging them easy. I wanted to hang them from a section of my kitchen bar-height countertop that didn't have bar chairs placed under it. My granite countertop comes out about a foot from the wall. These hangers worked perfect in that location. My kitten liked to pull the stockings down, but as you place items in the stockings and make them heavier it gets harder for them to get pulled off. My only complaint is that they are kind of cheap looking, but they are sturdy enough and won't damage my contertop. Next year I may wrap them with some decorative fabric to make them look a bit more festive, or run an evergreen garland over the top of them to hide the plastic.

These little hooks work well for displaying stockings on the mantel. We don't put heavy stuff in our stockings so I don't see an issue with that. Plus, if mantel is decorated, the top of hook can easily be weighted down to keep steady. I like them so much more than the big, stocking holders I previously used & took so much room.

THE only Christmas stocking hanger that actually works due to counter-balance. These may not be pretty, but they hold a totally filled stocking up on the mantel unlike the pretty brass weighted holders that I've tried over the years. I bought 2 sets of these this year as our family has been expanding. I already have them in clear green and clear red so was delighted to see that someone is still making/selling them, even if only available in clear now. What seems like a simple issue, is actually big & totally resolved!

This is my third Xmas using these. I chose them because I wanted something safe if my then-18 month old pulled on the stocking (those iron ones scared me). Well these have held up with some VERY heavy stockings in them. They worked for the odd place I used them (not a mantel). They work with a bit of tension, so they are most effective if the stocking already has some weight in it. I definitely recommend this for parents who want a safe option with toddlers around.

These stocking holders worked perfectly for me. My mantle is 4 1/2 and I worried at first that might break when I put them on, but they sort of "clicked" right in underneath. The little piece at the top actaully came in handy for keeping the lights and garland up. No tape required!! They stayed put and handled large; loaded stockings without a problem. I've taken them on and off many times while decorating, filling and emptying with no sign of trouble. The clear also blends in well with any decorations. I've bragged about how great these are to anyone that would listen!! LOL

These worked great to hang Christmas/holiday stockings from an IKEA Kallax shelf! I put quite a few things in the stocking, and it didn't slip off or drop any of the items. The rubber protects from scratching your shelf. The plastic that holds the stocking is not rock solid - feels like it could break if it hits a tile floor or if a kid tries to bend it, but I can't say that with certainty. Very well priced and look forward to using these again year after year!
