I’ve been drinking yerba mate for a while now, and this BALIBETOV set is easily one of the best I’ve used. The double-wall stainless steel cup keeps the mate hot for a long time without burning your hands, and it has a nice weight and feel to it — sturdy but comfortable. The bombilla (straw) filters well and doesn’t clog, even with fine-cut yerba. It’s easy to clean and has a nice polished finish that looks great with the cup. It’s nice, little small, but nice.

This set is all you need. The stainless steel allows for easier cleaning than a wooden gourd or a "real" gourd. It won't crack either. I thought there would be a difference in taste compared to a wooden or real gourd, but there is not. Granted, I am a gringo, but my Argentinian friends use stainless steel gourds as well. I recently ditched my morning coffee for mate, and I do not miss the coffee at all. Mate delivers the same caffeine but doesn't cause that jittery, overly aggressive feeling that too much coffee gives me. Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone converted to mate? Less anxiety, road rage, whatever. Mate also helps with dieting-especially if you do intermittent fasting. Viva mate y gracias Balibetov.

I've had this product for a few months now still looks brand new. Works amazing, really easy to clean and looks really neat. It comes with 2 straws and a cleaning tool for the straws. I bought this because I was introduced to Yerba maté, and its health benefits. I've been told that it boost fat loss. I feel better, and this product has been helping me stay on track.

I bought one as a gift and when I saw it being used and tried I got a second one just for me! Is perfect to clean, to hand for carrying on the street and the material is safe and does not change the taste of the Mate at all. I also have to say that I am a bit paranoid with the material of the recipients where I put food/drinks and for what I have been reading this steel is absolutely safe. The size also is perfect for having a good amount of drink but not having to hold a massive gour.

Holds heat really well. The opening is a little narrow so with an Argentinian mate thats more coarse it can be difficult to get a good mountain of mate but with a bit of extra water for soaking its perfect. Super easy to clean, been using it daily for more than a month and its had 0 issues. Great for beginners who don’t want to deal with the whole process of curing a natural gourd or for people in school or at work who might worry about durability. I’ve dropped this from waist height (1m/3ft) multiple times and it didn’t even leave a mark.
