Really impressed with this chess set. The quality is excellent — the board feels sturdy, and the pieces are well made with a nice finish. Good quality solid board, the pieces feel solid also and the magnetic element works well. Dropping a star because when you open the box (unfold) some pieces fall out, as do most of the checkers. Which is a bit annoying and an obvious design fault, as they’re not held tight enough in their respective slots.

Purchased for my son at this coming Christmas. He has always been keen to learn how to play chess so looked on Amazon for a decent set at a good price and found this one. Once out of the excellent packaging this is a very well produced set all in wood and in a box which keeps each piece in its own slot. Beautifully manufactured in great detail and is excellent value for the price. Very impressed.

Das Sihaiyuan magnetisches Schachbrett hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Magnete sind genau richtig stark – die Figuren bleiben sicher stehen, selbst wenn man das Brett leicht bewegt. Auch die Verarbeitung wirkt stabil und sauber, perfekt zum Mitnehmen oder für schnelle Partien unterwegs. Für den Preis definitiv top. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Einfache Figuren, Qualität könnte besser sein.

Das Schachspiel ist wirklich gut verarbeitet ! Also Schwachpunkt würde ich angeben, das die magnetische Haftung sehr schwach ist. Was auch ganz praktisch wäre, wenn die Dame/Mühle Steine auch mit einem Gummiband gesichert wären, da die Schachfiguren mit Gummibändern gesichert sind. Wenn man das Spiel mit der Oberfläche dreht, fallen die Steine raus ! Gut - man nimmt die Steine halt vorher raus dann geht es natürlich auch 😀 ! Aber ein Band mehr, dann wäre es perfekt !

Das Spiel ist top. Ich weiẞ nicht warum je 2 schwarze und 2 weiße Damen dabei sind aber egal. Die Figuren halten gut durch die Magnete und nicjts hat sich bis jetzt nach 3 Monaten gelöst. Deshalb ist es zu empfehlen.
