I’ve been looking for a lightweight shampoo that doesn’t weigh my hair down— I’ve a wavy/fine ringlet curls when I have short hair. I LOVE this - and it’s an amazing value for it especially when on sale! It smells heavenly…but that only IF you like a more synthetic banana scent (I think it smells like Laffy Taffy? Very gourmand, but if you’re not a fan of sweet it probably isn’t for you. I also got the conditioner and have seen some more life in my ever-changing hair. A great value for this standard-size bottle, the product arrived sealed and with inner seal intact! The pump is also easy to use and a little goes a long way!

First time using and will be rebuying. I love the natural fresh minty scent and love how it cleaned my scalp of the buildup that my regular shampoo could not wash out. Hair feels so clean. This doesn't seem to strip my hair color at all so that's wonderful and the pricepoint? it's amazing. Effective, quality ingredients makes this a great value for the money! A++++ Get it, you won't regret it!

Amazing for problematic scalp. I have oily hair and other health issues. Hygiene took a back seat for a while and because of my oily scalp started getting pimples in my hairline. Then from there basically at different times from the last 18 months there would be areas of my scalp that would fill up with pockets of fluid. It was extremely painful and after months of using Neosporin the pain itch and scar one, i got a lot of the infected areas to heal up. Unfortunately my scalp has changed in certain spots to dry and flaky. This shampoo is creamier and super cleansing, but also very hydrating. The smell is nice and not too strong. Very pleased with the price point and says it works for color treated hair. I'm waiting a little bit longer for my scalp to finish healing and will be coloring my hair hopefully in August at the end of the month. looking forward to putting this very long and frustrating difficulty with my scalp behind me. Definitely recommend the product. Update- definitely should be shipped in a bag. Notice very minimal leaking when I first got it but after being in the hot shower there's like a stream of shampoo that leaks out. Bottle is closed tightly not sure why it does this. Definitely ask if in box with other orders, that this comes in a sealed bag.

This shampoo has more cons for my family than pros. We're a highly textured family having curly types 3b to 4c in the household. Because of the nature of our textures we don't wash our hair but weekly minimum. That said, 7 days plus between washes can lead to some extra build-up. I was previously using Giovanni triple threat tea tree clarifying shampoo with excellent results. That would cut all the product, dirt and sebum in two washes. With Pacfia no such thing. This is far more gentle of a "clarifying" shampoo so I feel like I'd need to scrub more vigorously than I already do or do more washes. I washed my partner's 3b hair with this shampoo as well as my own 4b hair. We both came to the conclusion that it is best for washing we we aren't using as much products in our hair. I ended up following up with a different shampoo being Jamaican Mango & Lime's tingle shampoo. I feel Jamaican Mango & Lime got my hair far cleaner than Pacfia. Ingredients is said to have menthol and peppermint which always leaves the scalp with a cooling sensation. This shampoo for my partner and I had no such feeling in comparison to Giovanni's triple threat shampoo. This bottle while lightweight for me feels a bit dangerous. When you use the push down top, it leaves some material sticking out which is very sharp feeling. I believe if one isn't careful with it they can get hurt. Price point of this bottle for the volume include is on par with Giovanni. I was looking for a back up shampoo to the triple threat shampoo thus picked this. I also noted that this shampoo has protein being "hydrolyzed soy protein." Had I thoroughly read the ingredient list I would of skipped this shampoo. My 4b hair is low porosity so protein based products is known to make my hair feel stiff and brittle. While protein is amazing for colored hair, bleached and other chemically altered hair, my hair doesn't benefit from it in high quantities. While this shampoo is good for some this product moving forward will not be a staple in my household Yes this shampoo will get your hair clean. It does have a quality ingredient list. It's just not effective enough for my family as well as the protein being included.

Oh my! This Coconut Vanilla is the best shampoo! I have really fine hair that gets dry and frizzy with most shampoo. This shampoo makes my hair soft but doesn't weigh it down. I'm buying 2 extra bottles. Nice calm scent.

I used this shampoo with the matching conditioner, and while it didn’t help my dandruff (which I thought it might since it’s marketed for scalp care), I still liked it overall. It smells good and leaves my hair feeling clean. I love that Pacifica is fully vegan and cruelty-free. The brand is also environmentally conscious with their packaging, which I respect, but the packaging itself is very flimsy. The shampoo leaks from the bottom of the lid, which gets messy, and I’ve had this issue with other Pacifica products too. Overall, it’s a solid option, but I wouldn’t buy it again since it didn’t meet my specific needs.

Disappointing purchase. Used it once left my hair hard and brittle. Performs like a cheap supermarket shampoo. Not at all as advertised. Not sure if it qualifies for return but I should have sent it back. I paid $30-35 for this. Don’t buy. This is my sincere experience.
