Excellent fridge and freezer containers
I bought 40 of the 8oz size and 36 of the 16oz size and 24 of the 32oz size. I like them very well. The containers are not flimsy, they are thick enough material to successfully hold 32oz of soup, chilli, etc without collapsing on themselves. The lids fit perfectly and tight. The smaller the size the harder it is to get the lid off which I thought could be a problem but even the 8oz isn't a real struggle. I seem to have a problem getting lids off for some reason and was concerned about some of the comments but I think they a good design. All the lids are the same size across the 8oz, the 16oz and the 32oz containers so there is no 'hunting' for the right lid. I use the 8oz for storing Jello and/or pudding in the fridge. I use the 16oz for single servings of soup, chilli, etc (freezer or fridge). I use the 32oz for storing spaghetti sauce and the like in the freezer. I've also used them to take things in my lunch to work and the lids fit so snug that I don't worry about spilling the contents. The containers have two lines on the inside - the higher line is the exact measurement for the particular size container. The lower line is a little less than the containers measurement size but is perfect if you are going to freeze it. The lower line allows exactly enough room for expansion when freezing I learned. These containers are not good for storing flat items such as chicken breasts. I continue to use my Tupperware squares and rectangles for those kind of items. I don't like using these for chicken breasts or stuffed peppers. Staining: I have had no issues with staining but then I do not place them in the microwave either. I pour the contents into a bowl or something. All the tomato stains have washed completely by hand or the dishwasher. The lids have a tendency to fly around in the dishwasher but have learned how to secure them in place and they clean just fine. Air drying is by far the best way to dry them - I also don't use the dry cycle on my dish washer - I just open the door and air dry everything to conserve electricity. To use this many containers at once you would need to have a deep freezer - it is a lot of storage capacity. I recommend these containers for quality, variety, and value.

Perfect size, thick containers, great quality
Nice and thick, 32 oz, perfect for gumbo and stew. Sit the frozen container in warm water, slide out the frozen food into a pot. I haven't tried them in the microwave. I'll get a second order now that I know the quality.

Okay please listen up people
There are a lot of pros and some cons about this item but listen. If you want to buy the cheaper form of this item which is only 2.00 less don't expect the items to hold up. The poly plastic will crack and will not hold up to the level you want. The lids will probably arrive cracked and will tear first or second use. But, if you buy this item the freezer version you will find the lids very durable and the containers able to take a lot of punishment over and over. The lids also go on very easy and come off very easy and are water tight. This is a great item don't hesitate to buy this item for the money. I am not easily pleased and I am overwhelmed with the quality of this item. Remember don't buy the deli containers or cartons, only the freezer style Reditainers if you want a really good quality to use over and over again. I am so amazed that the same lid fits all the containers they just change the height (depth) of the container to compensate from small to large, that is so cool. NO FUMBLING AROUND FOR DIFFERENT LIDS WHEN YOU USE DIFFERENT SIZED CONTAINERS, WHAT AN IDEA. REDITAINER SHOULD GET AN EMY FOR DOING THIS. You will find the lids flexible but tuff enuff to be of good quality and the containers themselves very firm and thick, you would ruin them if you tried to squeeze them down to a funnel shape to pour from them even though they would make the bend I would not want to do it. Oh ya, the statement that they don't stack well because they don't set flat when you put the lids on, that is not true if, if, if you berp the air out of them. Just push down on the center lightly after you put the lid on and pull up the lip of the lid until you hear and feel the air leave the container, the top sucks in so you can easily stack them as high as is safe for what your storing. Well that's my take, I was confused and somewhat fearful on what to buy based on the reviews, so I decided to get what I thought would have to be the best quality to stand up to freezing, microwaving, etc.. They have to endure expansion in freezing process and wow, I am glad, since my first order I have ordered every size, finding the quality to be the same throughout. NOT ONE BROKEN OR CRACKED LID OR ANYTHING ON ANY OF THE ORDERS. I think some people are buying the cheaper deli containers and then coming back and posting low reviews on the good freezer containers of which they never bought, its the only thing that makes sense to me, unless they were shipped the wrong ones. They say freezer containers on the label on the package, if you buy Reditainer Freezer Containers it will say it on the label on the package. Hope this helps all of you figure out why all the cons with such good pros.

Fantastic quality deli containers.
This along with the 12 and 16 ounce containers are one of the single best purchases I have ever made for my kitchen. They freeze and microwave (as long as you remember to crack the lid beforehand) exceptionally well, and have gone through many cycles in my dishwasher without warping.

Appear to be just what I need.
Arrived on time and in good condition. Haven’t used them yet, but the containers look like they will make good freezer containers for soup.

These are amazing for all my freezing needs! Use them for soup or pre-made meals and the size is just great! They’ve held up well for the storage and wash well, I haven’t put them in the dishwasher yet.

So robust. Had them for months now and still good to go. Use them also for dry storage of ground flax and bran in the fridge. Wish they made small square or rectangular ones for freezing a casserole into single serve size.

Great containers. We use them at church and at home. Perfect for freezing soups. They will hold a label and are able to be reused several times. Universal lids for the other sizes is a bonus! No more searching for lids.

Bought these to freeze soup and they have been fantastic. Totally fine in the dishwasher, feel very sturdy and do not leak. Looking for 16oz containers of the same quality but no luck yet!
