Heaven in a glass.
I bought this over a year ago to celebrate my forthcoming 60th birthday. I caught covid a few days before my birthday but no way was I waiting any longer to try it, sadly my taste and smell had almost gone. So here we are a few days later covid free and though my taste and smell is not fully back to normal I can actually appreciate this wonderful bourbon. It would be unfair to judge the nose but the taste is intensely flavourful I had to add a few drops of water because of the high abv. Left to stand for at least 20mins and I was rewarded with the finest bourbon I have tried. It has a wonderful mouth feel and the taste is like Wild Turkey 101 ramped up to a completely different level. Is it worth the difference in price, absolutely. Whilst 101 is a fine bourbon the Rare Breed is worth it for that special treat, just hope I can make it last.

Cracking Whiskey
This is a really cracking whiskey. something a bit different to my collection. so rich and brings flavors of wood and dark chocolate. really enjoyable, and will put a few hairs on your chest at 58.4% ABV

Quality and Flavour
Has a punch that will catch you off guard if you're not used to it but the bang for your buck is 100%. One bottle lasted me several years and not in a bad way.

Don't think about just buy it
As someone who's been happy with std Jack Daniels for ever, I've just had a whisky awakening. Not knowing what to expect when ordering my bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed, I took a chance, and wow; I'm completely clueless about whisky, but this stuff is fantastic, both neat or with a tablespoon of water, preferably filtered water. If you find yourself on the fence about buying a bottle, I guarantee you won't regret it, or maybe you will, but only because you didn't try it earlier.

If you like WT101 this is just heaven....
If you take Wild Turkey 101 and crank it up to 11 this is what you get, everything you love about the venerable 101 but just ramped up, the viscosity, the flavours, the finish, the aromas, it's all there but just in such abundance that it'll bring a tear to your eye and cause you to declare a toast to Jimmy Russell (the head honcho at WT).For the price it's an astoundingly great pour (okay I got mine for £44.89 when it was on special offer here on Amazon) but despite the cost it's definitely one of those Bourbons that you get a good bang for your buck and puts others to shame that cost £30-£40 more and don't come anywhere close to the proof point of this stuff. If you like WT 101 then you're going to fall head over heels in love with WT Rare Breed, now altogether "Cheers and God bless Jimmy Russell", lol.

The good stuff
There's no getting around the fact you can get two bottles of 101 to one of these, but we all deserve a treat now and then don't we? Well god bless Jimmy Russell because he's got the treat for you right here.
